Tilda pushing that chair and dramatically pulling the curtain should win all the awards alone
couldnt agree more haha
Agree 100%.
How come a simple act can be so powerful??
I was like am I the only one who laughed and thought that was epic af?
I was thinking about that. It disturbed me so hard
Swinton commanding a scene just by kicking a chair and closing the drapes. QUEEN
She's a fucking genius, out of this world and unsurpassable.
so classy... so intense.. so powerful.. each is possessed ..by some kind of .. colourful eerie magic...
yeah just so.. the way she kicks the chair..is...........
Love Miss Millius just absolutely vibing behind Blanc at 1:32.
I love how despite the fact that it shares the same title as it's predecessor, yet is not a remake, it exhibits traits of an original film while paying homage to the original.. beautifully done.. an example for all works of art
I totally agree. It's a reimagining, not a remake.
100 percent
It's a remake. German ballet school, Helena Marcus, School board full of witches and demons. It's a remake people and by the looks of it a dull one.
@@Starkardur "The Fly" had a mad scientist, teleportation and a freak accident involving a fly. Still managed to be completely different from the original and horrifying as it's own entity. "Suspiria" seems to be following in that same pattern: go back to the basics and do something different and unexpected. What Guadagnino is doing may not involve flashy colors and an aural assault on the senses with the music but it looks completely unsettling in it's own right and paying beautiful homage to the name "Suspiria". And one thing that it seems to be doing well that the original dropped the ball on is incorporating magic through the dance.
Except Dario was not given any notice prior about permission to do this which rubs me wrong still.
That was sexier than anything she did in Fifty Shades of Grey.
It probably explains why Christian Grey chose Ana to be his
You've seen Fifty Shades of Grey?
Wow, that's a bold confession.
@@leej70 ive read all three of the books and seen all 3 of the films
Why?
@@leej70 why? People have been reading and become fascinated with the series and I wanted to get into the program.
Tilda Swinton has unbelievable grip on her character, they way she says her line, the way she walks, the way she stands is perfection!
I love how, thus far, in every scene there always seems to be women posing in the background, quietly observing from the shadows. It’s a nice touch, as if you’re constantly under the gaze of ravens or owls at night.
Totally!! 👥
That's a great way to put it. I agree. They watch and observe like a witch's familiar.
@@SaturnPhase
I cannot wait for this film to ruin my life, in the best way possible.
Once the eerie music kicks in at around 40 seconds in you really feel a strange sense of dread in the room. Not to mention, the camera work in this clip is incredible!
Totally agree! Love the camera work as well!

Unglaublicher film! Sehr zu empfehlen, es auszuprobieren!
The Kumail Nanjiani jump scare at the end really got me.
Tilda is so great as always, They NAILED the 70's feel. You can tell it's a modern film but at the same time it has this timeless feel to it which i love.
I don't think it looks modern. It looks like it was made in the 70s.
DAKOTA IS NAILING THE POSSESSED DANCING!!! I’m so proud of her!!!
Hmm, not totally convinced that is 100% Dakota dancing, that long hair is great for hiding faces, and you don't actually see Dakota in that sitting split position, only a back view.
Malena Casey I think it is her. There is a shot where you can see a slight bit of her face. It looks like Dakota. And besides, she trained for 2 years. I think Dakota can pull off what we’re seeing here. It is the more complicated choreography that a dance double most likely stood in.
To my understanding and research about the movie, Dakota didn’t have a dance double and did all of her scenes
Luca keeps insisting that old man isn't Tilda so i don't trust him, so i wait and see the film to see if we actually see Dakota dancing.
Malena Casey wtf??? The old man is a german actor, he’s already been confirmed and given credits in the trailer, why do you think that it’s tilda?
I'll be watching this film in the same position as Suzy
That says a lot about you Lord Armyn.
This comment mad me feel something
Oh my God, I thought this was *THAT* scene and I started freaking out. I'm still not ready, Luca!
Looks like Susie's dance might be some kind of ritual dance from the way her body moves. It's like she is in another world even before she starts dancing.
Very insightful comment
Tilda swinton is always a perfect casting
The looks incredibly well-made and very scary, but also restrained and well calibrated; a classy, artistic and intelligent horror film. In other words; my wig is ALL THE WAY OFF!
As it should be . 😂
I love the details of something wrong happening from Madam Blanc exaggeratedly kicked the chair, and Miss Tanner's creepy look to Suzie's movement.
Ken Kanto I didn't even fully realize it until I saw comments but wow yeah, her so viciously kicking the chair and then calmly continuing to talk is very off putting. Also *SPOILERS FOR A SCENE SHOWN AT A CON SERIOUSLY IF YOU WANT TO BE UNSPOILED DON'T READ* there's a scene where Susie is dancing and a dancer in another room is being thrown around in a similar fashion to her dance, being ripped apart in the process, I'm thinking this is that scene.
Atticus no it’s not. I’m wondering tho if it’s the scene in the trailer where she’s levitating against the door frame.
i didn't even understand what did i just saw , but that was scary and beautiful at the same time.
malicious patrick basically Markos is drawing Susie to where she is hiding underneath the floor
Please, give me this movie 😍
Dakota, Tilda are just... WOW! And the rest of cast is absolutely not less
This movie looks wonderful it has so much artistic quality
I love that girls "Aye yay! good for you!" glance to susie. type of person i aspire to be in competitive environments.
Jose Flores Mia Goth, she’s so talented and beautiful 😃
Best friend goal!
DAKOTA SWEETIE IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT???
Luca Guadagnino, I give you my soul...
Stunned. Amazed that it even comes close to being like the original. It really has that 70s vibe and it has a very similar feel to the original which is quite impressing.
Suspiria.. you have my attention !
Dakota's control over her body is so impressive to see
I can't wait to see this movie 😍
I'm crazy excited too......
*DITTO!!!*

Unglaublicher film! Sehr zu empfehlen, es auszuprobieren!
It is sooo good! Very dark and disturbing yet beautiful at the same time! The acting is great, the score is incredible... I loved this movie and watched it twice in a row at the theater and it is almost 3 hours long!!!!
0:24 her pulling my wig all the way off
This is just... MARVELOUS. Is so breathtaking and perfect. Dakota and Tilda need to work together forever. Thank you Luca.
Lisette Orellana Both actresses have stated how much they love and adore each other on and off screen. You’re right, they have amazing chemistry that is so interesting to watch! Can’t wait for this movie!
@@adam-ll1yf Yes! I seen both in A Bigger Splash (By Guadagnino), and they made a fantastic work
The subtle music is on point
0:47 Angela Winkler is so creepy and phantastic
Angela Winkler as Miss Tanner was a stand out. She creeped me out more than Tilda Swinton did.
MariaSandraC seriously. She was flawless
I just noticed how Suzie litterally at the start of the scene sits like a childs Ragdoll or better yet marionette sat on a shelf! Like a doll being played with by invisible forces or a puppet and unknown evil is pulling the strings!!!!! Hence the whole "scene" people are talking about!
What scene?! I wanna know
@@tristenmoles7933 in the news about this movie there is a scene where this dancer is being thrown in a mirrored dancr room all over and her body is litterally being ripped to shreads and the people who saw it where shocked.
@@jamesbearvr can't wait
RIP the chair
proud of Dakota
I like how relatively colorless this version seems to be compared to the retina-burning original. And- WOW!- Tilda is a stunningly intimidating force here!
Blerk Snarfgut The color palette makes complete sense in relation to the time period they are in.
I really feel like this movie will be the underdog/dark horse of award season.
Channing Beauchene You’re right. I feel people are underestimating it because it is a horror movie... but it looks to the one of the most quality films of the year! Certainly the most compelling.
Get Out was horror too and it got nominated.
This better get nominated for the Best Cinematography in Oscar next year
@@adam-ll1yf A horror film AND a remake too. But that doesn't change my mind, it's already a win for me 🙏
1:33 😂😂😂😂😂 I think I was too busy hitting my dab pen in the theater to notice ol girl in the red dress getting down as well, in those last few seconds lol
A remake which looks so promising. 😱
Excellent camera work
1:07 everybody do the Helena Markros. Twist your body and make your arms go, Aaaggghhhhhhh!!!
That just made me even more excited to see this movie
It looks unlike any other movie I have seen. Just like the original !
I DON‘T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY EXCEPT WOW
I love dakota😍
I CANT LOOK AWAY
Before this movie, I'll be watching the original to prepare
I love the first panning down to Susie’s whole body on the floor. Her movements are both strict and fluid, she looks beastly and becoming
More and more reminding me of Starry Eyes "If you cant ever fully let yourself go, how can you ever transform into something else?"
HOOOOOOH! Never knew shoulder blades could be this awesome. WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
OMGGG DAKOTA 😱😱😱
What happened to her
love this movie already
That Miss Tanner lady creeps me the hell out
If you think she's creepy here, you should see how Alida Valli player her in the original. Like a two-faced dominatrix from Hell.
Will C oh my god you hit the nail on the head. Both miss tanners are hella scary and creepy
That camera movement !!!
No Screenplay is better than David Fincher's.
@@nerdseyeview5017 Guadagnino
looks like a good horror film we havent seen in years,,,welcome back
I knew Dakota was a great actress! And this may sound ironic, but I knew it from watching her in fifty shades... think about it: it was one of the worst plots with some of the worst dialogue and characters of all time, but somehow she made this none-personality called Anastasia Steele watchable... that's what I call talent.
Both her and Jamie are good actors. It was the 50 shades script, story direction, and not knowing how to properly adapt the books to screen that were the issues . Glad they aren't getting typed casted because of those movies
Dakota is Talented actress was given a Bad project, I’m happy this movie might her change the perspective the audience that she is a good in acting and give her a chance.
her performance in A BIGGER SPLASH (which was also directed by Luca Guadagnino) is phenomenal. you should check it out :)
Valhalla opinions of someone who thinks anything from 50 shades is "watchable" don't count.
+Dawut Sasanapitax Dakota was wickedly impressive in A Bigger Splash, I would love for her to play a badass villain one day.
Beautiful.
Wow this is perfect !! Just like the original

Leading actress*
And best actress (dakota)
This is the best remake ever made of a horror movie since John carpenter remade the thing
Oh yes..John Carpenter, the good ole days. My imagine a remake of John Carpenter's "Prince of Darkness"
The transition from Tilda to Kumail
can't wait to be terrified....
Can we talk about that gown though?
I wish I could just wear that every day forever and ever.
QUEEN
I've seen it three times and i want to go again. 🔥
I’m ready for this film
Tilda Swinton❤️
I think this is actually the beginning of THAT scene at Cinemacon, the description of the routine that Madame Blanc (Tilda) does, it's kinda what happens to the dancer that is controlled in the other room by the dance of Suzie (Dakota). She actually ends up being open, in the worst way possible, though.
This made me anxious
So proud of the cast and everything else, just Wow, what a movie clip, can’t wait for a few days for it to come 😮😲🤗.
I think it's not a classucal horror movie which we have seen so far. Jumpscares won't play a role in this, more the visually pictures and their sympbolism. It will be scary but more in the disgusting way, disgusting but beautiful.
and that is the mix i need.
Raphael Böttcher more like body horror yeah
What about Existential Horror or Cosmic horror? Or is that a more masculine style of horror. Or yeah that's right Suspiria has witches
*dies immediately.
simplesmente a melhor coisa que eu ja assisti na minha vida
The way the witches watch Susie like spiders...
Hermoso
I'll be watching this movie wearing a Dakota wig, just to have it snatched by the end of it.
I'm a huge fan of the first suspiria I like it so far from what I've seen!
Amazing!
It looks scary and amazing, it looks creepy from both trailers I saw, I definitely look forward to seeing it and the rest of the movies of 2018 coming up, I am definitely excited for this to come. Great clip anyway 👍
I CANT WAIT
No one has ever looked so good pulling a curtain...just sayin 👌😌
I stood next to Dakota at a party once. She was alone and no one was talking with her at that moment… I was SO blown away at her beauty and SO incredibly intimidated by her that I was stone cold TERRIFIED to talk to her! I could have. I actually had a perfect chance to, but I froze badly!! So much so that I was nauseous!! I just stood there like a dipsh*t saying nothing. This went on for a few minutes even. She probably would have been like “eww get away from me!” anyway but still, I am SO mad at myself for not saying F it and trying… Just to see if she would have been nice etc. It haunts me now that I chicken sh*tted out! Anyway, just had to get that off my chest. The movie looks awesome!
Wonderful, I can't wait to see this movie! I'm waiting for the DVD!
Great improving!
I CAN'T WAIT!! Mater Suspiriorum is gonna getcha!!
Just watching this clip is giving me chills. And, watching this clip is making me feel at awe on the anticipation of perhaps one of the greatest, if not, the greatest horror movies of all time! 😍
I was NOT a fan of this clip. But after seeing Johnston in “Bad Times at the El Royale” I have confidence in her. She was my favorite character in that movie.
I have a feeling this will surpass the original version
I really can't wait for this. Aghhh
ms tanner is so menacing
