What's up! Hope you guys are having a wonderful day wherever you are! I know this is a completely different type of video but I just wanted to try something new! Let me know what you guys think!
I have the Lexa 400.... pretty much the same reel and size ....been using it with a 10'6" muskie rod... in heavy surf ... up here in northern Cal .its good for 100yd + casts Anyway... I do have the Alijoz 300 and its been great in fresh or salt. 👍😎🤙
When I started to buy this casting rail in the 300 version, and I was surprised I liked it a lot, then I bought a Daiwa Lexa 400 and I felt them not exactly the same but similar, when the 400 version of alijoz came out I bought it, I have already used it in deep fishing, shore fishing and in my kayak and I liked it very much, price quality seems fair to me.
A couple weeks ago we went out of H&M landing on an overnight charter (old glory). . It was awesome!! Hope to do it again next year. That reel would be awesome for that.
I have one . Fantastic reel I also have the barrel type version from piscifun awesome value for money 💰 I use both versions in the saltwater. Catch all sorts with them here in New zealand. Would def recommend
Just a heads up.. pescifun is notorious for putting inaccurate line capacity yardages on their boxes for example 20 lb monofilament is actually 0.45 millimeters. And I was able to fit roughly 200 yards of it on this exact reel which would equate to roughly 112 yards of 40 lb monofilament which is 0.60 millimeters.
I have that reel and I like it. Spooled with 50lb braid and use to for bottom fishing here in Socal. I swapped the counter balance handle with the power handle from the alijoz 300 and it fits.
For saltwater, i used to use only 3 brands. Avet, lexa, and tranx. Just for fun, i picked up two of these 400s and two 300s. I was extremely impressed with both. Can't beat it for the money . My friends made fun of me until they tried them.
Used to have a P-Torrent rod years ago. That MFer wouldn't break lmao. Didnt matter if it was a ray or spottie, droppin it on the rocks. Thing was a tank, great budget rod forsure
Hey I love to see the unboxing content. Just wanted to know, but did you look into the Okuma Komodo reels? I believe their 300 and 400 size have clickers like you were looking for.
Fishing with budget gear is always nice! I understand there are very nice rod and reels out there, I'm guilty of that but it's nice to know that there are budget-friendly options out there that gets the job done as well!
If you soak bait there, get as close to the restaurant on the left side of harbor island. Gotten some 50 pound bat rays and Leo’s on that left side. I’ve never had any good luck on the right side
I have several different type low profile fishing reels. from the Curado 200's REVO 200 size, lexa 100 (2) , 300 (2) and 400 (3) sizes Tranx 500 I have 3 PISCIFUN reels 1 -300 an 2 400 they are comparable to the Lexa size reels. They are light weight and easy to setup. I have used the 300 in the bay for bass. The 4oos I used on the overnight for rockfish and bass. Easy to cast drags are strong will they last in the salt Maybe if you take care of them Cheers
I know a guy that fishes his 300 size one a lot. Still holding up for him. My personal experience with this brand wasn't very good. This also was years ago when they just started out.

Soaking bait at harbor on sunday said what's up to you. You're a cool laid back cat... soaked shrimp and squid 2 smooth hounds, 2 rays, short spotty
Found the one that left that dead spottie couple videos ago😭

Hella late to this vid but here none the less! #TeamCraperCasters
I have a full piscifun setup. Alloy M reel and a 2 pc torrent rod. Its more than enough for shore pounding. The brand cant be beat for the price.
