Georgioupolis Chania Crete Greece

Georgioupoli is a small fishing village on the northern coast of Crete, 40 km east of Chania, 100 km west of Heraklion and only 20 km west of Rethymnon.
The town is very green and also has a very nice small harbor on the edge of Almyros river, next to the harbor on a rock in the sea is built a small white church of Agios Nikolaos that from far looks like floating, everything we mentioned and the long sandy beach with crystal clear waters makes Georgioupolis a very popular tourist destination!
