What makes me feel so sick is that the kitten was so friendly and just wanted affection. What makes it worse is that she didn’t even see an issue with it
Yeah don't feel bad for her, not for a second. The fact she said "it's just a cat" is telling enough and her subsequent 'apology' means nothing.
It's ok they ruined her life and she got depression cause no one would hire her
Remember, people like her only "feel guilty" because they got caught.
Yeah, that POS deserved all the hate that she got. That sweet kitty was so friendly. If you don't like cats (which I honestly cannot understand) just walk by and not pet it. Why be f'n cruel?! They didn’t deserve any of the death threats people on the internet are so hypocritical and never practice what they preach
That one dude getting *six months in FEDERAL PRISON plus six months house arrest* for writing a hoax copypasta on reddit, while the college professor who ASSAULTED PEOPLE WITH A DEADLY WEAPON only got 3 years probation, shows how political biases have infiltrated even our justice system.

One of my favorite 4chan moments was when a high school student posted pictures of all the guns he was going to take in the next morning, and 4chan pulled the exif data from the photos and called the police. When he got off the bus, he was met by several police officers and arrested. He later posted back on 4chan to criticize them for snitching, thinking that they would think his school shooting would be hilarious. 4chan just replied that him get caught and arrested was funnier.

I love that you used the term ‘tosser’ to describe the woman who threw the cat in the bin. That not only actually describes the woman, but is a common British insult. Not sure if it was intentional, but it made me giggle.
Well this DID take place in England so that's probably why.
I misheard her name and thought she was actually the child killer Mary Bell from back in the 60s. I was ready for a can of worms..

Making fanfiction gets someone 6 months in prison, but assaulting people with a bike lock and almost killing a cat only gets a slap on the wrist?
Yeah, it seems totally wild! In fact, the fanfic guy was punished for the gullibility/stupidity of others.
I remember there was this famous bank robber back in the day, and when the fed was interviewing him asking "why do you rob banks?" He simply said, "cuz that's where the money is."

As someone who was on 4chan during the coupon days, thanks for the $2 off the 12 pack of Pepsi, Henderson!

I would print coupons for free 20$ Microsoft points and use them at the rite aid or hannafords then sell the cards to my friends at school. Only did it a handful of times but it worked except for once the lady couldn't believe it even though it scanned so she said no
Someone lock these criminals up!
I got quite a few cartons of cigs lol, buy one get one. Couldn’t believe they actually fell for it
its a shame they flew to close to the sun, if they kept it at little savings it could of been a victim less crime for years
The common thread through most of these incidents is that the companies who were actually responsible for allowing their customers data to be so easily obtained through laziness and cheapness on security got off scott free and in some cases got compensation for their incompetence.
I feel that in cases like the Bike Lock Bandit and the Cat Tosser, it falls outside of 'dumbest criminal' considering the amount of coordinated investigation people had to do to track them down. Part of why bike bandit was caught was his mask slipped for one second in one clip where he was visible in a crowd for a couple seconds, and they used the 2 seconds of his face in frame
I remember when MadThad's police report was posted on 4chan. I found it so hilarious that he had the CP in a folder called "don't click" as if that's going to stop the cops from opening it. What a moron.

The coupon story reminded me of a story my aunt Cindy told. Back in the late 80s and early 90s she was living in Seattle and working at a bank. A week after we declared victory in the Persian Gulf War people started showing up to local banks with yellow ribbons, the ones people wear to support the troops, asking for 20 bucks. There was much confusion. Some people actually got their money, other banks thought it must not apply to their location, etc.
Turns out some pranksters had slipped those flyers into thousands of copies of the Sunday paper saying you could bring your yellow ribbons into local banks and get twenty bucks.
honestly the fake coupon guy was a genius
But still leaked his location anyway
It's not hard. I figured that out in the mid 90s with a photocopier and it only continued into the 2000s with Photoshop. I stopped doing it ultimately as I had paid off my student debts.
He did nothing wrong. He should never have been charged. It should not be illegal to defraud multimillion dollar companies. Millionaires have too much money to actually be victimized by fraud.
@@JacksonBegleymusicguy According to that logic, since the human body has ~6 of blood if I take a syringe and take out a milliliter of blood from a random person I should not be charged?
@@billbob3998 No, that’s not their logic. In that crime, there’s an actual victim. A specific one person, not a faceless company with insurance.
I feel like she should have had a lifetime ban on having pets. Anyone who says "It's just a cat." is not human.

It's funny how 4Chan can be an extremely toxic forum but then do some of the most badass detective work to oust criminal activity.
"toxic", lol
True. The first time I heard of 4chan doing something good for the world was when they caught a "pdf file" who was creeping on a middle school girl and even posted her picture in the boards. They pretended to be on his side and asked which school? What's her name? And the idiot answered. They traced the photo's data and contacted both the police of that area and the girl's family and the bast* rd got swatted.
@@user-xl5kd6il6c radioactive is a more accurate word
4chan is sometimes toxic, chaotic and plain disgusting. On /pol/ you get idiots demanding someone's head get bashed in and below that you might get a thread with a news report link and a discussion about inconsistencies in the story, comparisons with other news sources from different countries and political viewpoints of the same event, just people trying to figure out the truth of a story. And the next thread is a flat earther trolling everyone.
4chan isn’t just incels living in mom's basement, though quite a few parts of 4chan are dominated by those. You get people from all countries, social positions and political viewpoints sharing their opinion there.
I despise /b/ because of all the p*rn there, but seeing all sorts of political views and news on 4chan can really open your eyes to all sorts of alternate viewpoints. I don’t usually share the radical ones, but knowing they exist and what other people think is a step above what most media sources are willing to give people.
Were you aware of the russian smear campaign against zhelensky the day before the war in ukraine started, when some media reported he was supposedly buying real estate in other countries? It was pure fiction meant to discredit him. I know because of 4chan, because smart people from all over check such news and give feedback, not just hateful shitposters trying to insult someone.
It is also a reality check for the delusional. Go ahead and post your wildest delusions, there are lots of delusionial idiots on 4chan. People will laugh at you and they will definitely give you that reality check you need.
The second story makes me stick to my stomach. It's terrifying how many sociopaths are just walking around like normal humans.
I love couponing, I wouldn't consider myself an extreme couponer, but my best was $360 dollars in groceries, after my store card and coupons, it only costed me $140 bucks. Another time in college, I got 8 24 packs of soda for $10 bucks. It's a fun little rush and it makes going grocery shopping a little less boring.
If you have Town Pump gas stations where you live, get a Pump It Up Rewards card. It’s free and you get 5¢ off every gallon of gas and some crazy discounts on food and drinks. I just got six 40oz Ranch Waters for $3 today. Cheapest booze I’ve ever bought.
As a cashier sir I can say you're an asshole. The check out counter is not a playground for you to get a rush. It messes with our inventory and just gets me yelled at by other customers for not having enough product for the rest of the customers. Pay for the food like a normal person and buy an appropriate amount or get food stamps.

Overall I am a single person with little to no power at all, they are one of the biggest corporations who still feel the need to profit from basic slave labour in prisons so yes I hold them to a higher standard than myself and if they do not want to help the people that built their company and are responsible for their own success, then I guess we have to take it for ourselves

ive probably walked down that infamous road in Coventry so many times without realising it! I'm glad the cat was ok afterwards!
There were at least 3 noticeable crimes on russian largest imageboard:
1. OP, theoretically asked about the best way to get rid of dead body in high-rise apartment. Thread ended with conclusion to just drop the body out a window at night. In couple days there were another thread about body found near apartment complex and OP caught by police.
2. OP start discussing murder without being caught. Eventually users agreed that crossbow shot from rent car window is ideal. Couple days later there was a news about man killed from crossbow on a driveway. Killer didn't get caught.
3. My favorite: OP asked advice about robbing electronics store at night. He was advised about mask, leaving cellphone and using plastic bags to get rid of footprints. Later security footage appears on the news of him robbing the store. This idiot forgot pliers to cut security cords, so he was able to stole couple laptops and phones. The best part - he lost his ID at the crime scene and was caught in the couple hours.

The funny thing about that coupon guy is that while he was caught, stores (at least Target) didn't do anything in their system to prevent these from working. So people still print those off and try to use them and entry-level security (like I used to be) had to tell them no and they'd usually cause a scene. Just another example of corporations saying "we could fix the problem, but that would cost money."
The fake coupon guy is both and idiot and a genius. If he’d have been careful and kept to himself he could have been set for at least a year and likely got away with it. It was his odd Robin Hood philanthropy and fame seeking that got him caught. It was a nice thing he tried to do for other people but sharing it was always going to land him in trouble.
Robin Hood in the original stories returned to the people money stolen from them by a tyrannical king. He acted according to libertarian conservative principles, not libleft ones.
Robbing corporations is not a real crime from a moral perspective.
The vast majority of corporations are small businesses, self employed artists and freelancers.
@@demolazer From YOUR moral perspective. In objectivity, robbing money from a company means taking hard-earned income from someone else, which effectively serves as partial slavery *(as you gain something from someone else's work).*
You read Robin Hood and failed to understand its message somehow. It's not saying "robbing is fine if the target is rich", it's "our society is flawed and unbalanced, we need to fight to get it more equal".
@@Dante02d12 "means taking hard-earned income from someone else" you do realize how corporations work, right? I went to college with Lucas Henderson (this video legit jogged old memories). Wasn't close friends with him, but our friend groups at RIT crossed paths, so I did hang out with him occasionally. I remember hearing about him getting in trouble and being baffled that it was over coupons. Crazy times at RIT.
Shit I would hire Henderson for cyber security (under supervision). Man managed to create a pretty major successful crime ring using his skill set while still in college.
What bothered me most about the cat video is how the friendly cat approached the woman for a pet, and how she actually petted it before putting it into the rubbish can. How depressed and angry must one be inside for a friendly kitten to trigger violence against it?
agreed, there was no reason to do that to the poor kitty.
Lmao what is wrong with you. How does that bother you more than someone throwing a cat into a trash bin
For a moment there I was wondering if she was simply acting on one of those stupid impulses your brain puts forward as a possibility, like "bite your own finger" or "hey, I could huck this rock through that window and nobody would know." The kind of thing that usually higher thought catches and stops, and that you immediately regret if you actually follow up on the impulse. Like "Cat is allowing me to pet and pick it up, and there's a bin right there. I bet it could get out on its own anyway." Nope.
That her response wasn't "That was a stupid impulse and I'm horrified to find that the cat was actually trapped for hours," but instead "it was only a cat" shows that she still didn't have a a problem dumping a living thing, someone's pet usually cared for like a pseudo-family member, into a garbage bin that would likely be dumped in a garbage truck and potentially compacted. "It was only a cat" implies a valuation somewhere closer to dumping a neighbor's cheap ugly lawn ornament into the trash.

hah if it's a key lock, it's the equivalence of putting a home security system sign in your yard without getting the actual security. multi-combo locks are anyone's best bet provided the shape doesn't allow for bolt cutters. also lock your wheels to it. at least the front wheel. those get stolen far more often. obviously register it with your city and then add something like a carved symbol, anything unnoticeable on the frame so even if the numbers are scrubbed, you can still prove ownership.
