Description:
This is a funny children song about the wedding of mice that celebrate taking a single grain of wheat to many unusual places. The dialect (Vallahades variety) was brought to Turkey by the Greek-speaking Vallaades/Vallahades or "Patriots", Muslims of the Grevena/Grebene region in Western Macedonia, as part of the Greek-Turkish population exchange (Treaty of Lausanne).
