The officer that took the first shot definitely puts his range time in. Not just from an accuracy standpoint either. @@harleybutler389 6:31 you can clearly see the officer tap the dude in the dome with his pistol
That was a delicious level of “just to make sure” mag dumping for the finale.
They say it’s their training to shoot till the target is not longer a threat. I find this twisted beyond belief. I do understand why but it just don’t feel right.
@@koreanfreak7433 you can find tones of videos ont this chanel alone of threats takeing multiple shots and still standing , charging with knife, driving away ect . Sometimes you need to put enough ... effort ... into the saftey of others over the .. pulse of a perp .
@@koreanfreak7433 - That volley of shots sounded as beautiful to my ears as fireworks on Independence Day. Society can now celebrate their independence from that piece of crap. Forever.
@@glassdogangle kinda a twisted thought, but whatever floats your boat big homie.
@@A_Can_Of_Beans but in some cases, this being a clear example. Man got dropped. Like a fly, perfect shot to the head. While he slipped instantaneously the other dozen or so shots may have been enough. I’m not defending criminals nor convicts but maybe try to rationalize with the situation. Or maybe think of the danger one could be putting the hostage in, instead of putting the extra 3 into flat Stanley on the ground.
I love this channel. People need to see what officers deal with in the real world. Thank you
Can't agree more. People like to talk shit, but they don't see what cops have to do.
For every ONE of these videos TEN real people have to deal with shit like this without officers intervening.
It's also very selective so I would say not to let your view of the police be painted by this single channel. But it is a good source of police content. You just wont see any particularly bad videos. Worst I've seen is a few cops panicking but never any form of police abuse or actual transparency.
@@kiteofdark yeah so it's the opposite of the media
@@RockenTravis The media definitely doesn't show the good side of policing but this channel doesn't show the bad. It's hard to get an unbiased source so we're forced to find different perspectives and try to figure out where the truth is ourselves.
The lady got in the car with the guy at a convenience store very nonchalantly, and then when being chased by the police, she calls and says she "doesn't know who he is," yet when he's shot, she screams "Noooo!" There's something that doesn't add up about her actions and reactions here.
Still doesn't justify the hostage takers' actions... 🙄
@@TheLvlylox I didn't say that it did. I'm just saying that it seems like she was in cahoots with him. Like perhaps they thought that if he had a "hostage," he might have bought more time to find a way out of the mess they were in. He overplayed his threat and forced them to shoot him. She didn't think they would actually shoot him, so she screamed out "Noooo!"
This isn't about whether or not he deserved to get shot. It's more about what her role in this was... Was she something other than just an innocent bystander?
@cvdinjapan7935 What im saying is, it doesn't really matter at this point, does it? Also, you watch WAY too many movies!

@@armandocastellanos1music167 Deputy Engle fired once at the suspect's head, and Deputy Tran fired once from his handgun at the same time at the suspect's head. After these shots the suspect dropped to the ground and the female hostage moved northwest in the yard toward officers.
I am shocked by the police officers marksmanship here. This is so far above and beyond most shooters. HUGE kudos to this officer.
The guy shot himself in the head. No amazing marksmanship here.
Would have been kinda funny if NO one had admitted to taking that initial shot ... ;)
Q: Why did they shoot him so many times?
A: Because evil can never be dead enough!
Basically as long as the person can move and has a gun in their hand, the general rule of thumb is keep shooting
You stop when they can’t shoot you
Because he can still shoot back or get up and stab them if he had a knife. That's why they train them to keep shooting even if the person on the ground. Plus it's a piece of shit woman beater so it doesn't matter how many times they shot his ass.
Because that was all the bullets they had
Because it was a good time to get rid of old ammo.
I get it but it looked pretty clear that guys was not in the fight after the first one. However, he already crossed the line IMO taking hostiges.
That was a marksmanship shot. That guy spent some good time on the range.
Which badass cop took that shot? None of these 3 body cams shows these officers making the shot.
Bodykam #2 made the shot, and it was only 1 officer shooting as opposed to "2 at the same time" in the description
Probably the guy that was instructed to go around the back of the house.
According to the description, *two* officers shot at the same time!?!
@@Surmoka There is no way that was officer #2 who took that shot. His view was 1/2 obstructed by the bush in front of him which would make that shot incredibly irresponsible with a hostage involved, let alone a hostage at gunpoint being held FRONT of the suspect. In officer #3's footage you can hear the casing hit the floor but not in #2's, and if you listen to #2's audio carefully with headphones, you can hear the shot come from his left.
@@Surmoka Body Cam #2 did not shoot. Someone with a rifle shot. It sort of looked like body cam #2 shot because he recoiled when the shot was fired, in reaction to the shot. But he recoiled downward (not up). Plus you can hear how deep the sound is on the shot, it was definitely from a rifle. Then Body Cam #2 runs up and shoots and you can hear normal 9mm higher pitched sounds of his pistol.
"How many bullets are we firing?"
"Yes."

All of them. 🥰
