Honestly if I was at the door and the first thing I was asked was if I could do or had anything of value, I'd probably just be like "Yeah, I can do this" and would've turned around and walked away. Lots of foster homes just wanted live-in babysitters for their real kids or maids or workers that they'd get PAID to keep instead of having to pay, and I got sick of it real quick.

Maybe a big ol club, engineered to take out anything mythological I might have issues with. Maybe a variety of smaller mallets made of many different materials to cover all of said mythological bases. Who knows?

@@ShyDroidVA I think it's the way I interpreted your tone as pretending to care while being a bit salty that I wasn't what you expected rather than genuine doting. Also all the phrases used to demean the specialness of humans. Also you called us a "narc" for being a "snitch" and the tone at that line sounded more mean than joking. (Just to clarify none of this is against you, it's just how I interpreted thing and I enjoy and listen agnst audios so when i thought of it as being fake I thought that's what you were going for)
Edit: also I guess it was also because of how much I put myself into the shoes of the newly orphaned and therefore fragile and lonely feeling child would process how you interacted with them.

While he certainly wasn't impressed with him, he ends up being attached to them enough to do "things" to those who treated him poorly.
