      Well, given how every detail of the titan’s physiology theoretically comes from Ymir before she died, then we can’t know exactly how the titans would form up from this child. It could be anything, if they were effected by the war happening, and want change like Eren, that would contrast the passive personality of Ymir.

      I don’t really get it tho, if that child received eren’s power he would have also received the attack titan meaning eren would have been able to see what would happen using the attack titan’s time travel power if he went through with the plan and was buried in that way, with history repeating itself. Why would he want that?

    8:00 bro im not tryna sound like im patronizing you but listen to yourself. You're basically saying that in the end of the day, all of erens struggling and efforts were for nothing. He never got to free paradis, as in the future it was still destroyed, and it's not confirmed but people sapeculate that it wasn't war that destroyed paradis, it was the 20% of humanity that decided to never forgive paradis and retaliate EVEN THOUGH the power of titans were gone. If eren had just completed the rumbling none of this would have happened and paradis, his home, which he wanted to save, would still be around. This ending shows that eren solved nothing because even the power of titans still stuck around and his home was destroyed. Even ymir didn't conclude because technical;lly she was never freed because if ymir is truly free then the power of titans would cease to exist. The only thing good that comes from this ending is armin getting to save the world

    I think it is symbolic that they highlighted the bandage on hand.
    It was referred again in the guidebook, in backstory her mother wanted her to pass this mark on to her child when she had a family of her own one day. So it can be taken she doesn’t have her own children.
    So it could be Armin who is by her side. Reflective of the child cover with three of them together.

    Mikasa didn't marry Jean. The man with Mikasa visiting Eren's grave is Armin. Also Ymir loved Historia and Historia loved Ymir. There was nothing between Eren and Historia except friendship. Eren loved Mikasa. "You hurt the ones you love." He didn't always treat her the best but he cared for her the best way he knew how. He always tried to protect her one way or another. During the Eren's trial he defended her passionately when they were going to associate her with him as a titan, punishing her for it: "I may be a monster but she has nothing to do with it." Also when he told her that he hated her. He did it to distance himself from her because he knew what he was going to do and didn't want her to be apart of it. He was protecting her. Also in the manga that scene with Eren and Mikasa living together in a house. He spent some of his last moments living peacefully with her.

    Finally,somebody who's not criticized the ending.I feel the same way,this story have to ended like this.Like you said it's fitting to the Aot's world. I love the ending and cried on the ending,bc these pages showing the cruel world with ppl who's always gonna fight and bitching with others.This is the true meaning of Aot to me and it's mirroring our world too.And yes,Eren's sacrifice didn't stop the cycle, sad but true,and I prefer better a story where the main characters could die for anything than a story where they got superpowers and always the good win.It's the reason why I hooked on Aot where I can see the real world's cruelty without sugarcoating. If I wanna watch romantic,funny soap stories then I'll search another show.
    So many ppl talking about plot holes and whatnot but I don't care if these exist bc the ending reached my heart and felt the same way like I did at S3 part 2.So the emotion cycling absolutely whole & satisfying to me.
    I don't want Aoe it'll ruin everything.Obviously it's my opinion & my feelings.
    Although I don't understand Yimir how could tricking with Mikasa's mind meanwhile she's an Ackerman but honestly don't care.The Attack On Titan with this ending and added pages totally whole and great imo.

The entire story leads up to the anime-original ending and the manga ending is a supplement to it. People who don't appreciate the manga's ending are missing that point and I think it's important to recognize it even if you dislike it!

      I feel like the only thing that isn't in keeping with AoT word is trying to make the story a love story at the very end. Mikasa and Eren are horrible together, even when they're not toxic adults, and the story did good not to focus on them. But then the end of the story really trys to make you care about their relationship, and reasonably, a lot of people don't like Eren. Eren had the knowledge of all time and space and figured genocide was the only way to get things done? The fuck? You couldn't try political subterfuge? You can see the future you bitch. Find a future with a piece of information you can leverage against everyone. Or just commit genocide then claim you did it for your girlfriend.

    The lesson of the final chapter wasnt that "history repeats itself" at all... Its that no matter how good ur decision seems to be... Its the wrong one... Isayama basically tells the world that no matter how bad u hate history, the only way to fix the bad things in the history of humanity is to commit genocide... But no one will ever do that, so just get tf over it. The "heroes" who opposed Eren's plan were wrong for stopping Eren and itll only cause history to repeat itself. So the correct answer was to commit genocide alongside Eren. Thats the lesson of this entire story.

    • @calick7208
      @calick7208 Год назад

      That’s a horrible lesson, and I seriously doubt that was Isayama’s intention. The point of the final chapter is that peace never lasts forever within human society, so we have to find new ways to pick ourselves up.

He shouldve fought right there with the levi squad with him and defeat the female. But he chose to trust instead and they all died. Should they have chosen Erwin or Armin, the soft hearted dreamer? We got the dreamer and look where we are, Erwin was the right choice. This happens over and over in the story. It happens at the end as well... The alliance really think theyre saving the world, but its not the case. Theyre just allowing the survivors to fuel even more hate towards Eldians. And thus, history repeats itself. Eldians didnt have time to evolve enough to compete with the survivors and ended up wiped out, all cuz Mikasa and the rest chose to "save the world". This clearly shows that the right decision was to let the rumbling finish. It was the only way to stop the cycle. And since Eldians are humans with superpowers, why would the non-superpowered humans be the future of the world? Humans with superpowers are clearly the next step of evolution. Regardless, with their powers, they can create a better world way more easily. They can even make a world where everyone lives like the natives, without gunpowder, without industrialisation. The possibilities far surpass the possibilities of stopping the rumbling. And yes, Isayama is kinda nihilistic, remember, he likes hurting the readers and make em feel very bad. It is what it is, the right decision was to finish the rumbling. And thats a message to the reader, stop crying about history or ur gonna push someone to commit genocide.

He started the genocide but his ultimately goal was to be seen as the only villain, and have the survivors ally against him and stop him so the other nations saw Paradis as the heroes who stopped his crazy ass, and also to rid the world of the Titan curse, which was not the next step of evolution, it was a curse that caused countless deaths.
