This battle took place in 1410 but the political interests and animosities kept the 2 sides at war even tho they had the same religion. When the crusades ended is a tricky question that can be best answered if you know which geographical area you are reffering to. For the Middle East, they ended in 1291, however, in the Balkans for example, the crusades were still being called by the pope against the ottomans even in 1396 ( Nicopolis )
