I've always liked the way your videos take us through the process. It's not just "Here's a song I arranged" or "this is what I learned" you take us with you through the research process- how you learned it and show all the details, what was easy and what may have been a little tricky. Thank you so much for sharing!
Dear Nahre, Don't ever let the pressure of having to outdo your last best self cause you to stop, ever. Less than half your amazing worth still blows me away. I hope you have a wonderful time in your new diggings. Listening to you with love from Washington
I just wanna say that I admire you a lot since you're so obviously such a dedicated and talented musician. You really bring the meaning to the word "artist". Please keep on doing this and maybe even consider making a piano course since you would bring a lot to the table :D
You guys took it from my brain, you polished it, you gave it wings like I said, you turned into an angel , you returned to my heart and then all my heart did was whispered it to my eyes and I started to cry... Mario Romano (such a poet)
I know this video is kinda old now but I am begging you Nahre to put this arrangement on streaming services. I have gone back to this piece now and again and it’s seriously one of the most beautiful arrangements I’ve ever heard and I just wish there was a more accessible way to listen to it.
When the Final Arrangement was revealed , I just cried . I had a pretty bad 2020 and had doubts of 2021 being a good year . But this song gave me hope and inspiration to move on and to remember the beauty of music and the moments i share with people ! This is wonderful ! lots of lve to Nahre Sol and the rest ! This is a Life Changer and for the better !
The BBC had someone writing music very like this in the 80s and early 90s. Not easy writing but simple to the ear - rather like Menuhin saying about Gypsy violinists "How does one write this down?!" I'm rather touched that you got this wonderfully relaxed and natural sound in the box. I love it!
Nahre, the stilted portrayal of the back and forth collaboration between you and your good friend Julius Meltzer was hysterically funny. Your humor disarms and draws us in. Your art soothes and inspires us. I think I can say that for at least your ½ million plus subscribers, you have achieved your stated goal of ‘spreading enthusiasm for music’. (the world is so much better because you’re in it!) Thank you!!!
This arrangement is breathtaking in the purest sense. I don’t think I dared to breathe during the entire thing for fear that I’d miss a note. Captivating and lovely work, Nahre! You’re an inspiration to young composers like me!
The process was from beginning to end was great to watch and the final product is lush and beautiful. Congrats to you and Julius. The duplets over the 3/4 has such a great feel. You do great work here Nahre. Thank you.
Ms. Sol you have a gift to make exquisitely delicate sweet desserts out of whatever is left in the compositional fridge. This was apparent in your submission for “5 Musicians, 1 Scale”. But in this case the musical fridge was exceedingly well stocked by Mr Romano, and you appear to have lucked out with a Michelin-starred sous-chef in Mr. Meltzer. Synergy indeed.
Around 9:29 to 9:34, I think it was. I noticed that my tears have been welling up underneath my eyes. It's beautiful.💕 His words at the end! So accurate. Whispered it straight to my eyes!
"I get emotional," the composer says. Me, too. I was blinking back a few tears by the end. Just gorgeous! And what a treat to be given a view into the arranging and production process. -Tom
I'm.... I'm speechless. I started watching your videos after the WIRED video and I absolutely do not regret subscribing to you haha. This literally made my day. 이런 음악을 무료로 듣게 해주시다니... 감사합니다.
As a pianist/composer in the making I can't even begin to describe how helpful your videos are. I'm a Big fan of your work, thanks for everything you share with us 🖤
Through the whole song, I was imagining a story of a wedding, all the thoughts running through the brides as they prepare for a big chapter in their lives.. Your videos are so well crafted :') i think it gives me, a casual viewer a huge meaning in your arrangements and makes me appreciate them more. Thank you
Mario seems like a very poetic and warm guy. The intelligent things he must say... Also, how great was it for Nahre to show us the process...its a gem. As for the result? Simply magnificent. I don't see myself getting to that level in a long time
Arranging is an excellent way to strengthen all aspects of composition, by showing us how much we have to work with *around* the melody and the general harmonic structure - voicing, instrumentation, rhythmic drive, dramatic ebb and flow, playability per the given ensemble or solo instrument... I play piano and like to sing songs like this but I cannot play at the same level of musical elaboration if I ALSO have to sing at the same time, so I arrange or improvise differently depending upon whether I am the singer.
If there was a place where I could listen to your rearrangements/original pieces that you do in your genre exploration I would be in heaven! Nahre, you are the best! Thank you for all you do for music!
“The melody has never finished and never started” is so inspired! Danke! And the collaborative arrangement of the theme is above and beyond the original yet is an instrumental variation OF it. So the “work” is the ongoing multi-phase unfurling of an idea...which viewers of this video will no doubt improve-ise on their instrument at home or who knows how the life of this tune will go on but certainly IT WILL. Thank you for sharing the wealth.
I am not formally trained and just know how to sequence music using a DAW and synthesizers/samplers but I love learning the intricacies of how to compose formal music because there's a lot that can be applied to other types of music. Thanks for sharing it's a lovely piece!
Beautiful treatment! I agree with Mr. Romano: You gave His original passion-born artwork wings ... like an Angel. Or, perhaps a delicate Butterfly ... light and airy, yet with clear drive & direction. You handled this with such care & respect. The gratitude expressed by Mr. Romano for your work speaks volumes!
I live how you’re so passionate that you never half *** a single thing. When you want to get into a style, you explore it to its fullest possibility. Gorgeous. I will be playing this over snd iver again just like I have with sifting which I listen to like every day whilst running or walking. You are truly an awe inspiring musician.
Nahre, thank you for sharing with us all one of the loveliest gifts an accomplished student could give to a beloved mentor. Delightful. Exquisite. Yet another musical reason to choose kindness and love - here’s to a world filled with people who make living worthwhile through art.

One question: At 8'20'' what is the meaning of the parenthesis around D?
Was about to say something, but then he put it into words better than I could, so I’ll just say thank you guys! Brought a little tear. Made me feel.
Thank you Cuckoo! That means a lot to me!

Nahre sol's text conversations sound like they're directed by david lynch
so true
Or by Giorgio Lanthimos

That portamento at the intro part just plucks my heartstrings. I just get emotional when it slides up 🥲💖
