I am from the first batch of this course. A brilliant Department with top faculties delivering one of the best Instrumentation and Control course in country. Dr. Pankaj has taken keen interest in blostering industy interactions which will further help the students understand the needs of the industry and will provide even better placements. I currently work in Energy Industry in UK. Directly after completing my course I worked 8 years in core instrumentation industry in India, before moving to UK 16 years ago.
Bro from your experience, what are the skills we should acquire to perform well in a industry.. I mean I completed my diploma in instrumentation and control engineering and now persuing robotics and automation engineering... But still confused which are the skills that I should develop during my b tech time to have a successful carrier...
I did my betch instrumentation in the year 2018-22. Got placed in L&T construction through campus. The skills and knowledge inculcated in me by the department helped to achieve greater success in the industry. Currently I am employed at FACT as Assistant manager instrumentation. Thanks for your support and guidance.😊
I completed my BTech degree here in the year 2021. After that, I obtained a position at Petronet LNG Ltd as a GAT in the same year. Subsequently, I received multiple offers from various oil and gas industries across India. I then joined Yokogawa India Limited in Bangalore.
I completed my bachelors 2018-22. Got placed in L&t construction through campus placement. The mix of class work and industry skills in this department’s syllabus really paid off for me in job interviews. I’m super glad I chose to atudy here.

Sir, I completed my diploma in instrumentation and control engineering and now persuing my robotics and automation engineering... So, what are the chances and opportunities for me in india as a fresher to get experience in this field and have a good carrier..? The field I'm interested to work is Industrial automation... Reply anyone who know about this?
It really depends on the institute where you studied your course. You definitely have lots of options in industrial automation, but those positions usually require experience. In order to acquire experience you require that first break. Usually that first break is through placements. That's how usually it is. But you can also take a harder approach and start working in sub contact companies and internship positions to gain experience and finally move on to more permanent positions.
@@cooldudepankable I'm studying in an institute affiliated with pondicherry university (MVIT, Madagadipet)... Most of the placements here are from IT companies like tcs, vipro, Infosys.. etc...and have a very low core placement records(less than 20%).. So, I'm not sure about if I will get into a automation based companies... So, can you tell me what are the steps I should take to prepare myself for getting into a core company in india even it's a startup company?. And where can I find a mentor to guide me to succeed in my studies cuz lm confused right now about what are the skill sets I should acquire to placed as a fresher in any core company...( I have interest in PLC, control systems (pd, pid..), python, embedded system...) BTW Thankyou for your reply sir.. really appreciate it..
