I'll update this comment as per udpates to this DLC truck:
PTS for season 13 is here with following buffs to Azov Atom:-
- Atom stability is now fixed and it's not on par with other Azov 8x8s.
- Atom can now have minicrane with both low & high sadle.
With stability issue fixed, Atom is now pretty strong truck but I still don't think we needed another Azov 8x8 in game.

-Changed the center of gravity of the Azov 67096 “Atom” truck
-The combination of mini-crane + high/low saddle has been configured for the Azov 67096 “Atom” truck
-Fixed conflicts between Azov 67096 “Atom” truck add-ons and trailers
I am really in love with this truck and fixing the COG is just what I wanted I don't think it needed anymore addons and saber have listened and just fixed conflicts instead and given us the Saddles + Crane that the 64131 has

"fixed conflicts" how? did they add more conflicts or removed some?
@@Ze6rahif you use the Long Flatbad & IM50 Loading Crane you can tow a trailer, but if you use the 2 slot Flatbed or 2 slot Sideboard bed & IM50 Loading Crane you can't tow a trailer try it! we believe this is the conflict they fixed.
I'm a sucker for custom addons, custom wheels, and 3 slot beds. Definitely gonna buy this.

I agree with you in the latest update, the truck color is very strange
I did get one comment saying that he liked the color...so I guess its subjective but honestly I find them very ugly. base game trucks had better color combos IMO...but again we always have option to use solid colors.
We want see a battle between Azov Atom, International Paystar 5600TS, Kenworth 963, Azov 73210, Zikz 612 and FEMM 37-AT!!! (I mean Battle all 3-slot flatbed trucks!)

1:21 The Mack Defense M917 can have maintanance addon with a trailer and its a bit funny since when you do that all of your back tires just float in the air
Hi, thanks. Yes stability is very low, one medium boulder can flip whole truck. Was trying cross river and truck flip easy by water.
Why can’t they license these trucks? It’s probably because they don’t want to. There are licensed Russian trucks in the Dakar game
For some reason russian rally trucks are treated different than civilian ones. Maybe because Dakar Rally (instead of Kamaz brand) have a copyright for them

Because of the sanctions. 🤡🤡🤡You cannot use some Russian trademarks in your product. Russian manufacturers would be happy to increase the recognition of their brands in this way, but it doesn't depend on them, and most likely not because of the game developers. The Ford semi-poker company and their ban for ru players as an example
@@trytenbfagorta8528 It's not exactly because of sanctions - rally Kamaz was even in Colin McRae Dirt from 2007 but still we don't have a single game with licensed civilian Kamaz trucks. Maybe the manufacturers are not interested in it. Similar case is Skoda. I saw couple of games with rally versions but zero with civilian
What do you think about making another Snowrunner video about real life mods like proper sized fuel tanks, unique sideboards, better physics or real cargo weight?
The Atom's frame could be a bit softer for such a long vehicle. Maybe not as flexible suspension as in Bandit, but the current stiffness of this suspension makes traversing, climbing slopes or rocks difficult.
I felt that suspension is softer than other Azovs atleast but yeah more travel won't hurt.
В этой игре в принципе что-то не так с ходом подвески и ее жёсткостью. Нужен полный ребаланс всего этого хозяйства. Потомучто порой на небольших валунах машины коренятся неестественно
I bought it and I am happy, it is a good truck. It reminds me of a Man. I guess for phase 13 they will release a patch and update it.
Shoutout for mentioning Nathan, but other than that, I dont get that stability point of yours. Like, wtf couldnt it be like Azov when its less stable? XD Thats not any rule that Azov has to be stable. Also, I think the colors are nice, and also, despite the Atom having a custom bed, I quite dont like how there is so much space between the cargo. like, why did they extend it so much, to the point of fitting 4 cargo, when it could have been shorter, having 3 slots, looking better and being able to use the crane too. I relly dont like the flat bed, so for me, the crane becomes useless thx to it. I will keep eye on this one and consider if I should buy it later.... But yeah, good recap.
Compared to other Azov fleet trucks, Atom isn't stable and there's no logical reason behind it because the chassis and everything does look similar to other Azovs. I would say Atom should be more stable because it has longer frame and should've more weight in chassis but still its not as stable as it should be. Colors are subjective but I do agree with you on custom bed point.

This truck is a must buy IMO, so efficient for overloading on hard mode. Can stack 9 or more items and cover the entire map of Amur.
Ngl I love this truck it’s so reliable and fuel efficient, it took me forever to run out of fuel and it took forever to break it despite me running into trees.

The Azov Atom unique tires have stats of asphalt 1.0, dirt 3.0 and mud 1.8. The JAT MHS IV (which I actually often use now) have asphalt 0.4, dirt 1.8 and mud 2.6. I think that this "test mud lane" wasn't muddy enough but merely of dirt. Otherwise it's weird. 😀
Currently playing season 12. This truck with excellent fuel efficiency is very good on extra long haul.

Great that they change the Atoms center of gravity. It made no sense that its even more tippy than the useless Azov Arctic.
And right. No need to use the 4 slot, but limited to 3 slots, custom bed since it has no advantage.
The rear crane on the flatbed makes it pretty usefull for cargo shifting. Like the map Amur before you fixed the bridge to the storage.

This truck needed a 4 slot bed.
Stability might be from the height/width variable. Otherwise, it seems like a pretty decent 8x8.
i mean, the antartic is unstable too, but i guess that one has 71 inch wheels so it doesn’t really matter
Antarctic isn't a work truck, It's more of a special purpose vehicle but Azov Fleet trucks share same properties and there's no logical region why this one is not as stable as other 3 Azovs. With longer chassis, It should've more weight in frame so It should be more stable not less.
@@SD1ONE oh, that makes sense, and it doesn't make sense that this one is not stable since it has the smallest cab of all the azovs
Adding to the stability thing u always flip the 5319 it's not stable I my opinion.......but I do drive like a physcipath😅
the issue i have with the long frame trucks is the inability to have a long log frame add-on and most long frame trucks only have 3 slots instead of 4. it makes no sense at all.
After U buy the truck will you have all upgrades unlocked like with mods?
Yes, if you're like level 10 or something with all addons, etc unlocked then it'll have those...It already comes with all essential upgrades like snorkel, good tires, etc.
if this is not a must have DLC, what are these in 2024? so far i can get way more interesting trucks from mods, with better addon placements and functions. only the Map DLCs/seasons are must haves in my opinion.

Totally the Tatra. 813 doesn't have much addons, but it's got pretty decent fuel consuption, big tanks + 160l roof racks and by my opinion it is the best when it comes to rough terrain. 😉
When are they going to add new non-dlc trucks?
They'll only add such addons if it's requirement for a new mission type like water tank missions in season 9 added water tanks to almost all trucks...same with logging, etc...other than that I don't think they'll ever do that unless they release a paid DLC or something.
I wish it was more the size of it's irl counterpart instead. If it was, I'd 100% buy it. But it just looks far too goofy being ridiculously long.

imo, the performance comparisons with the Azov 73120 are kinda unfair due to it having an extra powered axle

have a look at the "Mustang 6560 RSK" from Kot76RSK. thats a mod truck similar to this atom, but better in most ways.

not sure why they didnt respect the lenght proportions in the middle and back sections, the ingame truck looks rediculous in a bad way, especially with the 2 slot bed and not being able to haul long logs

Really, I don't understand why a simple box on the roof can have 150 repair, while an entire service module has just 300... I mean, speaking of size, from 1/3 to 1/2 of the module is just for repair, it's unfair
same for fuel tank sizes, WS Twinsteer massive dual tanks hold less fuel than Derry 4

Antarctic isn't a work truck, It doesn't count....All azov work trucks share same properties even their design is similar to each other so logically this truck should be as stable as others.

This whole game is russian vehicles marketing.
I can be sure before this game i've never heard of a single russian truck brand or any 4x4 vehicle in my life.
The only brand or family cars i heard from there is Lada and a cousin of mine said it's garbage.
Old games is franchise were more focused on soviet trucks but this one has more modern Ru trucks as well. There're also other trucks from eastern europe region like Tatra, etc.
