Adam, Thank you for this wonderful overview on blogging. As a complete novice, I have spent the last month bouncing all over the internet trying to learn what I could about this business. I have learned a lot from many very bright/talented people but no one has explained the basic nuts and bolts as clearly as you have. You have a natural talent for teaching; a rare trait. I am taking an affiliate marketing class now but will add yours to the list as well. I am recently unemployed after 35+ years in IT. Determined not to go back to corporate prison. Thank you for all your efforts in putting this video together. - The Stapler

It absolutely takes time and years. And if you stay consistent now it will pay off down the road. Thank you for being real.

Hello Adam, I have an issue with choosing my niche. I'm thinking of something related to my country Nigeria. Is that a good idea?. I think my country is untapped yet or should I look for something more broad?
Ok ..listen to this guy..I did ALL he is saying ( without knowing but was ne just guessing ) and what is saying is 10000% correct !! ALL what he is saying . The only think I don't agree is backlinks..they are garbage .you don't need them. My blog went to 0 to 30k sessions in 3 months
Actually, use the stuff... slight pause.. that you are reviewing". Yes, this has always been a pet peeve of mine and it's obvious if you use it or have it, unfortunately, it isn't when you are planning to purchase as you have no first have experience (as the content consumer)
I’ve recently started a blog which is now monetising, I’m writing on Medium. It’s not made a lot yet but I started 1 month ago. However, I’ll likely change unless I can update this to be my URL. This videos great, I’ve watched it more than once and I can definitely see how it’s achievable, although millions is talented. From what I’ve read, it’s not overly difficult to earn which I can vouch, it’s the consistency and continued updating where people fall short. Often, people won’t see much more than £100 per month or so but with commitment, others earn thousands. My question though, what’s the etiquette for freelancing? I’ve seen some good gigs but they don’t offer royalties, is it fair to ask for this? Considering how there’s a chance to write £1m + articles, I’d say yes but they’re not offered in adverts who want writers.
@@liqiye368 hey, I’ll say yes but not regularly enough no. I peaked in April/ may where I made a good amount from my blogs + lots of affiliate and then I couldn’t stay consistent - think I burnt out a little tbh. Now my blogs around 35 are still getting views and reads, some still ranking but they’re not making much so I keep meaning to update them. I’ve also changed focus and have been getting more technical - just developed an app, spent time making 2 affiliate directories which have seen good traffic to start with. Also began a job board so the blogs been less of a priority. I’d recommend exploring directories and job boards, they’re high demand, simple, fun if your niche is interesting, and naturally get traffic due to them basically being a helpful diary.
Just remember you do not have to avoid competition if you actually understand what you are doing and you will also need to provide a serious volume of blogs to earn the authority in a highly competitive space. Providing you build via topic clusters considering every possible term in a niche to boost your Authority. This would be a TON of Information content and then you can build out the transactional affiliates afterwards with an already earned and confirmed authority.
Do you have more than one blog with different niches as a subject matter expert? If so how do you grow your personal brand to represent completely separate niches?
This video had some great content ..I like how he down plays making 10k like it’s a walk in the park on your way to 100k 😗 the tone of his voice even changed …the reality is-depending on your skill set at the onset will certainly determine how successful you’ll b and timeline-affiliate marketing can and does take years building topical authority, writing hundreds of articles within your niche and covering every angle…also, SEO,DA,links, emails ,news letter etc…plus; doing all these other skills takes time like.. tic Tok,YT,courses all of this is in addition too ..master 1skill then move on to other areas ..this was an excellent infomercial for the course this is why Adam is a good marketer…
I had a ranking issues in blog n all i need a technical seo n website audit Which i hired an expert n after it boom... Sometimes we just get confuse but audit expert can tell us what is the real prb
I have one brand website branching off to web hosting, auto responders, graphic design tools and saas. Is this too competitive? And for creating a topical map do you recommend low fruits to find keyword opportunities that low dr websites are ranking for then cluster them like keyword Cupid, is this a good topical map strategy and how would you improve it?
This is really useful content. I am amazed how much I have learned in one video. Thanks for creating this, it is not every day people create useful educational content while making >1mil a year(almost passive) :)
There are so many keywords with low competition...but the 1st response is the ai response that takes up half the page followed by 3 to 5 sponsored ads...meaning even if you are number 1 you are way way down the page.
Have a quick question Adam. Is it better to update an existing article that already has a permalink on my own blog, or create a new updated article/content? Which is going to get the most results in terms of ranking? Thanks
Much of this video talked about diversifying onto other platforms like RUclips. So I’m summary, blogging is dying unless you started a blog a king time ago and you dominate on certain keywords.
I have a question - I come from a motion design and graphic design background which is my main work. I have become anxious about doing some sort of side hustle and this fits in my wheelhouse. What if I wanted to build links with a brand or business and wrote an article about them while also doing a cool video and linking to their site - would that help the situation with getting them to link to you on their page? I did this when I started doing motion design and got some amazing clients from doing spec work. I'm thinking that just building some bad ass content for a brand on your page might help get a link on their page easier. Want to utilize what I do well to help with any future with a blog or two.
Hello Adam! I am starting a blog and would like to use WordPress (Writing the actual blogs is probably the best here) but I am not good at all building a website so I am wondering if you have any recommendations for site developers?
Hi Adam, I travel a lot - 2 or 3 international trips a year. So I’ve been to a lot of countries. In your opinion, is travel blog still a viable idea? Or is it way too saturated. With original pictures, videos, and content I might be able to bring some value to people in helping them to plan better and help with itineraries, etc. since I have so much personal experience and knowledge.
I think it’s possible but it’s an uphill battle. If you want to rank on Google, you’ll have to specialize in one distinct area of travel. Like traveling in a specific country, or a specific subniche within travel. Like traveling with a baby, RV/van life, destination weddings, etc. The more specific the better. RUclips is also a good option. And you don’t need to do travel videos per se, (some B roll could help) but you could make videos at home around travel tips to save money, travel insurance, etc. But the key is you really need to find your specialty.
So what is your advice if you can't show your face??? I have deformaties that I absolutely don't want to show my face on the internet (it's bad enough going out into my local community). I agree that making a personal brand is a successful strategy, but how do you do that if you can't - or don't want to - show your face? Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!
What if you already had a brand site that's in the same broad niche as your blog post and obviously there's no keywords in your URL but it's also obvious from your domain name that your niched down posts do logically come under the broader umbrella. Is that okay? Like, hypothetically you used gas grills so what if you already had a foodie blog can you confidently do gas grill posts and then in another category coffee machines and in another category patio tables etc and still rank if your keywords were well researched and the articles are well written?
Hypothetically, yes. But that was more true about a year ago. It’s a lot harder today to compete in multiple areas with big media sites blanketing topics. The best path is to take the foodie blog and find a specific subniche of informational content, like certain recipes and how-to guides, and monetize with ads and selling your own products.
Hey Adam!! Could you please advise us about the YMYL niche? I am a yoga teacher and know a lot about wellness and lifestyle content but I am not able to start a blog because of Google's medic update. I've heard that health and wellness being a YMYl niche won't be ranked unless you are an expert.
It could be challenging to rank on Google in the health or wellness niche. I would try a niche with affiliate opportunities, maybe yoga since it’s not overly medical advice, and then tie that to a RUclips channel over time. The key is to teach something valuable and then recommend products for affiliate commissions across Google (blog) and RUclips.
@adamenfroy love your content! I’d like to talk about a certain product in a certain niche but the products and manufacturers don’t offer affiliate links. How could I monetize?
Great content! But... You talked of YOU brand as against a product/niche brand. Do you mean all the diverse products you promoted to make over $1m in 2023 were under a single personalized blog? You pointed to a niche-specific URL in the video as to help SEO. That confused me, was expecting to see your name. Thanks!
Thanks Adam, foa nice and informative videos. I'm reading, watch videos on YT, courses to build my personal brand in a high competitive niche. My plan is to post 1 or 2 articles every day 1 year and see what happen. Topical Authority is the key is think
Admittedly, I feel a bit disheartened after listening to this video. Perhaps my bubble has been burst, I’m not sure. There is so much talk here about finding a product, using those products and or writing about those products. I want to write about self-help, helping aging baby-boomers have a happier life. Will sit with what you shared and listen again to determine if my idea has any merit. Thank you 🙏
End of this month I plan to launch my blog, so I get it. I go back and forth with myself a lot because while mine is in the area of Finance, I've niched down to helping people in the Caribbean make money online because we have so many limitations here, but it can be disheartening because: #1 I want to make sure I do things in an ethical way so a bunch of people don't just lose money, #2 I work full-time so it's a lot to handle. I said all this to say keep at what you're doing. Do at least something each day. Also your idea does in fact sound like a good niche so go heavy on the branding for baby boomers. Best of luck!
Go for it! You could always monetize with your own products or courses. Build an audience and then if you want to make money from the blog create a product for them like a happiness / gratitude journal or a video course with guided meditations (whatever you want) or you could find journals/ courses you like already that have affiliate products. The main thing when you start is not to promote too much but build an engaged audience by helping them as much as possible + start building a newsletter as soon as you can. You can also monetize the blog with ads once you have a big audience so you don't need to make all your blogs around promoting products.
Why not treat it as an easy journal kind of a thing and just start sharing your thoughts. Don't just sit on it. Start small with doing stuff that gets you excited. You can think about the business side in a couple of months. Cheers.
It can save you time, but it is very risky if you haven’t done it before and aren’t really well versed in SEO and exactly what to look for. DR, spam scores, traffic, backlink profile, etc.
@@AdamEnfroy Thank you for answer and sharing knowledge on your videos, in spite of good parameters DM spam score backlinks and everything important, can it be so that, for example, after the purchase will suddenly start to decline in traffic? is there somewhere, Q and A where I can ask you some more questions? :)
do you have any experience in the travel niche? I see some travel advisors with blog post on traveling but I don't believe they are the ones that write it is there any websites that allow you to take that articles and put it on your site?
Sir I am a software engineer and very technical and I really also love writing as I am doing code review for most engineers in my company. I am lacking a marketing skills I want to build a social sharing platform that combines both software engineers and cyber security and I dont know if it is good idea to get started. Insightful. It will be helpful if you could make a video on how to start a blog from scratch and what platform do you use for it.. :)
thanks for creating such an informative and helpful video! As someone who want to start out with blogging, I really appreciated all the tips and insights you shared. Your step-by-step approach made the process feel much less intimidating. I will definitely be referring back to this video as I start my own blog. Keep up the great work!
Great content! It’s tricky, however, to find a physical product you’re going to build a personal brand around, esp. if you’re a student of philosophy and psychology.
Yeah, those niches would be more about you creating your own course product and community.
Thanks for the informational content !✨
Passive income is overrated, love it
Hello Adam, I have an issue with choosing my niche.
How? With seo?
Considering how there’s a chance to write £1m + articles, I’d say yes but they’re not offered in adverts who want writers.
are you still blogging?
This would be a TON of Information content and then you can build out the transactional affiliates afterwards with an already earned and confirmed authority.
this is gold!!🪙💛
Great video!
Great information!
Do you have more than one blog with different niches as a subject matter expert? If so how do you grow your personal brand to represent completely separate niches?
What do you think about travel channels but niching to a specific destination/ location?
I had a ranking issues in blog n all i need a technical seo n website audit
Which i hired an expert n after it boom...
Adam, wondering about your take on ads. First what about ad blockers. Second don't they adversely impact the user experience ? Thank you.
There are so many keywords with low competition...but the 1st response is the ai response that takes up half the page followed by 3 to 5 sponsored ads...meaning even if you are number 1 you are way way down the page.
Hey, good job, it's still a job, but we love it, thanks, adam
Have a quick question Adam. Is it better to update an existing article that already has a permalink on my own blog, or create a new updated article/content? Which is going to get the most results in terms of ranking? Thanks
was the old one doing well at all?
Excellent article! I live out of USA, currently Mexico, I want to start a Blog from my expertise, Which blog platform should I use for beginner?
Crisp, smart way of explaining, necessary and sufficient information. That was helpful. Thank you.
where do you get backlinks
I sell my 11 years old blog...
Could you please guide I'm not sure if I should start with a free blog like WordPress or get something that's paid? Please suggest
Would you please give us the URL to your podcasting information?
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it! 🙏
What do you use to create your article graphics etc?
No one tells all these steps in such a transparent way. Keep up the good work @AdamEnfroy
Hi I am a freelance article writer we can discuss on offering the services if you are looking to start a blog..... look forward to
I just created one, but I need guidance in order to be successful.
Thanks!
You can use an avatar or a mascot, it really depends on the vibe you want to go for.
Yoga should be okay.
@@AdamEnfroy cool:)
Hi, Adam, I am in the Health care industry, what niche can I start with?
Very helpful! Thank you for using gardening as part of your example. It's my niche and I rarely see it used as an example
Very helpful, thank you!
Thanks!
bro thank you i fell like I just striked gold I needed to hear this so bad thank you
Thanks Adam, foa nice and informative videos. I'm reading, watch videos on YT, courses to build my personal brand in a high competitive niche. My plan is to post 1 or 2 articles every day 1 year and see what happen. Topical Authority is the key is think
Sounds great and best of luck!
Great directions and advices. How can i get in touch with you, setup and grow.
Rgds

@@deanbean8994 Beautifully shared and very helpful Dean. Many thanks for taking the time to respond. I value it! 🙏
@@peterpaulharnisch no worries at all - All the best with it!
Why not treat it as an easy journal kind of a thing and just start sharing your thoughts. Don't just sit on it. Start small with doing stuff that gets you excited. You can think about the business side in a couple of months. Cheers.
Adam do you think is it worth it to buy a website/blog from websites like Flippa or Empire Flippers rather than creating from scratch?
It can save you time, but it is very risky if you haven’t done it before and aren’t really well versed in SEO and exactly what to look for. DR, spam scores, traffic, backlink profile, etc.
@@AdamEnfroy Thank you for answer and sharing knowledge on your videos,
in spite of good parameters DM spam score backlinks and everything important, can it be so that, for example, after the purchase will suddenly start to decline in traffic? is there somewhere, Q and A where I can ask you some more questions? :)
This seems to be going back to how blogging use to be, Very niche specific. Is the course going to update to reflect this new view?
do you have any experience in the travel niche? I see some travel advisors with blog post on traveling but I don't believe they are the ones that write it is there any websites that allow you to take that articles and put it on your site?
Great video
Sir
I am a software engineer and very technical and I really also love writing as I am doing code review for most engineers in my company.
I am lacking a marketing skills
I want to build a social sharing platform that combines both software engineers and cyber security and I dont know if it is good idea to get started.
I am wondering how to go about doing research as they are so many blogs related to blog.
What blogging platform do you Guys use? And what if I don’t have hosting money yet is there a free blogging platform. I can still run ads
How about a music blog? Any thoughts on that?
In africa it is very difficult to get uk and us traffic even if our article are less competitive and target usa and uk. What should i do to target us and uk traffic
try a vpn and register your site as uk or us based
@@hillam3908 is VPN the same as VPs?
What if I am in a Competitive Niche ex Music lessons? will your system work for this?
Adam, ive seen many of your videos,my question is,do you have something on link building. I may,or may not have seen this. But it sounds like something we really need to know/do.
I have many videos on link building on RUclips and within Blog Growth Engine. Just start by searching my channel for it.
@AdamEnfroy Thank you,I'll do that. I appreciate you,and what you're doing for others. Like many others say,you are very inspiring to us. Thank you for all of your hard work.
A lot of decently good info packed into this 39 minute 18 second run on sentence
Excellent content and how the information was delivered in various forms made it easy to understand. Genius.
Need more guidance on how to become a blogger.Iam just new in this stuff.
Hi Adam, thanks for the tips. Exactly what I need. I have my blog / website since way more than 2019, but didn’t get trough all these optimisations tips! Great video!
Hi, Can anybody help me? I want to start a blog/website with how to and best style articles but am confused, do all these articles come under 'blog'? im using squarespace and its blogging tool. Do I put everything in my blog and call it blog? thanks :)
Your blog contains articles by category. You may create as many categories as you'd like. Good luck 👍🏽
Is making a course or consulting completely necessary in regards to making money with blogging?
It’s not totally necessary but it’s a good option to monetize faster.
