When Miguel wakes up in a mystery man’s bed, he never would have expected that his one-night stand would be his co-worker. Miguel was in the small town of Powell for the summer and since his mother ran a successful surfing business there, he worked part-time. Unfortunately, that was also where his one-night stand, Liam, worked and inevitably, the two grew incredibly close and their feelings for each other were blossoming. When Miguel’s mother, Shania, finds out about the two’s budding romance, she gets enraged and even throws slurs at her son. However, Liam reasons with Shania and the latter ends up accepting her gay son wholeheartedly. Meanwhile, as the two’s budding romance escalates, a girl named Eva comes into the scene and reveals that Liam was a father to her son. Miguel was devastated but accepted the reality. However, Eva could not bear seeing Liam with someone else so she started spreading rumors that Liam had been a neglectful father, essentially turning everyone in Powell against him. A particularly nasty girl, Blanche, who was revealed to be Eva’s cousin attempts to kick Liam and Miguel out in a bar. Thankfully, a man named Greg stood up for them and defended them. Later on, through a DNA test, they found out that Greg was Eva’s actual baby daddy and not Liam. When Greg comes to Eva’s house to confront her with the police, they were shocked to see so much more. Eva was a drug addict and was immediately arrested while Greg got custody of their son. Meanwhile, with Eva out of the picture, Miguel and Liam could finally live their summer romance together.

Things sounds great for all of them, Miguel and Liam sound happy, Benjamin and Greg are happy too now that skank eva is out of their lives. Eva left Benjamin alone in his crib, balling his eyes out while she was high on coke
I love my two little cousins to death, but I could never defend them if they did what Eva did. Also I wouldn't have gone out of my way to be unprofessional and harass people even if they were guilty of what they were accused of.
