I like how they wrote this. The girl dying while kneeling before Firefly and saying her majesty. And when Firefly powered up Tree-style, the girl is still kneeling there, almost like the will of all the other dead SAMs sprouted from the earth and boosted Firefly up. I dont know. It's cool symbolism.
Do all the firefly clones have some sort of resistance to the scorching beam itself? Under normal circumstances everything should have been reduced to ashes but you can see the bodies still intact.
@@qrowbranwen8245 Apparently they're genetically engineered to all be able to produce and control fire, I would guess that this includes a tremendous resistance to fire?
Another thing is that when she enters Complete Combustion at 5:25 (the green state with the wings), her helmet's mask shifts into a crown. Definitely some royalty imagery going on.

Btw Scorched earth operations( that lil detonator)was a Kamikazi move meant to literally scorch the entire planet killing everything on the surface of the planet including the firefly’s

No shit lol. Imagine a seemingly unending swarm of voracious deadly beetles that can easily devour human beings in seconds flying around and wreaking havoc and then the swarm mother comes and unleashes hell on the place as well. It's like a swarm of locusts eating everything they see. Just shoot me at that point. Horrifying.

Honkai Star Rail and its "stories of light and positivity" never disappoint us 😭
To be fair, it still kinda is. She could've just gave up there and let herself die. She had all the right to. She lived to fight for Glamoth only for Glamoth just to die in the end. Then what's the point of her living? What's the point of dying? The future she was promised was nothing but a futile struggle against fate.
Yet her answer to all that nihilistic thinking was "Like Fyreflies to a flame, life begets death." There's no point on finding out why we live or why we die. They're inevitable. To her, what really matters is that we are alive.
Just like that plant that bloomed in Glamoth's final moments. Why did it sprout just to die by fire? Maybe its pity from Yaoshi or maybe its there to make Firefly's dream come true. But whatever the case, it doesn't matter. Like how Acheron and Duke Inferno said: What matters is not the answer, but that it exists.
So why do we live if just to die? Our reasons can vary, but the fact is that we are alive. Isn't that what matters the most?
Despite Penacony having such a depressing cast of backstories, the fact that they're alive or have lived their lives is a testament to "light and positivity." At least, that's how I see it.
Firefly better come home or we set the seas ablaze :(

Even 1000x more sad when you realize the one what walked up and died in front of Firefly, was the one from the Myriad Celestia Trailer with the glasses, that commented on her hair and said the bow looked nice. Firefly literally lost everything she knows. And if you read the Glamoth planar ornament set, it gives lore on both the orb and the rope, and a shocker of what they were ACTUALLY fighting for.
Many did not realize the swarm was still around after the explosion, those black dots in the sky. And it was Firefly that finished them all off with her final move to destroy the planet. Not only possibly the last of her kind, possibly the one who ended the Swarms invasion.
Hmm..now I wonder what path Firefly follows. The tree makes me think Abundance. Also, why TF does Ruan Mei want to revive that thing!?! 😂 I’m nvr gonna complain again about the weekly boss fight.

Probably not Abundance because she is against living an eternal life, which most people who follow the Abundance yearns for. The tree is more representative of her activating her Complete Combustion state with renewed vigor.
Could Hunt or Destruction, since she specifically chooses to destroy enemy targets with sheer power and efficiency but that’s also relatively unlikely. Unless Glamoth as an entire planet followed the Hunt/Destruction Path like how Belobog followed Preservation

It's sad because they exist to Fight for something that is no longer exists. After the suicide operation the swarm still coming we can see the sky. And the fact that she push her suit armor beyond the limit and nuke the planet literally obliterated everything show how strong her will is..
As a 19 years old men (actually still kido lol). When she cry.. It was my first time my tears are up for this game, I really feel her like she has nothing left, I actually give her a hug from my pov haha. And at this point they couldn't make her actually died, If they still.. they are pure evil

What did you see there? It's not Tayzirroth, that was just a mother insect, like the one we saw with Argenti, that destruction only denied them food, but I'm the same as you.
that's just a True Sting, it's not even Skaracabaz who is the emanator, let alone it being Tayzzyronth because if it were Tayzzyronth, then there will be no firefly.
Btw that's another swarm just below emanator of propagation
Qlipoth couldn't kill it off completely Tazz. He weakens the Path of Propagation and hammers it down but just like a bug they didn't killed it instead they sealed Tazz in an amber.
Herta tells you after you finish SU Swarm Disaster that Tazz can return in the near or far future. Fuxuan also tried to divination on the amber where Tazz remains sealed but she couldn't divine it. She couldn't see it's future.

Im not an HSR player but why is Firefly so endeearing to evwryone? Like i got attached to her because of Robin's song which I evwntually did a cover of. I atudied her story out of interest and curiousity and found thay In some way we hve things in common in terms of mobility. Now what's this again about her? 🥺

I hate to be that guy, but "uhm actually" it's Tazzyronth's fault, (Aeon of Propagation) as they created the swarm, Ruan Mei only re created the *emenator* not the Aeon themselves....

The Swarm was around way way way longer than you think. Around more than 200 million years ago before everything we see today in game. Ruan Mei isn't the creator. You are uninformed.

@@speedrunner3312 I'm pretty certain it wasn't that long, but it was a long time. Like, in the tens to hundreds of thousands of years, long. Which would also make Firefly *really* old. Since the Iron Cavalry of Glamoth was specifically made to fight the approaching swarm disaster.
