I became a hospital Chief Financial Officer at 27 by having the guts to take the chance and move my wife and 1 year old to a rural area. It was very risky but paid off. I was the shy guy standing in front of a board of directors but knew I had to support my family. I'm now capping off a 40 year career and retiring next year. I play a little guitar at night and have a nice collection.
Great message Brad. You’re absolutely correct. I reached out for help 6 months ago and have completely turned my life around. It can get better no matter how hopeless it may seem.
I gotta admit this resonates especially so in the moment. Id been very ANTI as far as having kids went much of my life. That was until maybe a year or two ago, I met my lady we got along quite well. She herself already had a 7yr old. That experience changed my perspective profoundly.. profoundly! Im now realizing I need to make certain adjustments to my overall being if I want this relationship to work. The ole spidey sense tells me this is my path and my person and I need to do what I have to do.
Good stuff man, my big fear to overcome is beginning to play live soon, instead of just making music comfortably in my home studio. Its funny, I am more terrified to play live than I was to go to Parris Island in 2015.
Once you get that first one under your belt I bet you will be bitten by that gig bug and can’t get enough. Then after a few years of that you will be asking how much money 💴 are we making? And if its not enough for your troubles you will decide just to stay home. But it can be a lot of fun and like Bad Brad preaches there are a lot of life lessons to be learned and its not just about playing music. Welcome to RNR University be sure you graduate with honors.
Brad, on the Stone Padre song Dance,Dance Wake Up and Dance, what did you use to record that track? I really like the guitar tone and your playing. Thank you

I used one of those Charvel guitars and a Kemper with profiles from Top Jimi.
