Hi! I would appreciate if you could also put a link to my video at least in the description! Also, I'm preparing a video about how Xuanyi has achieved this level of inspection planning, stay tuned.
When you look at events at 2x2, many beginners think one-looking is just doing the whole solve without pausing (not using lookahead) but at top level, it’s more than that. 2x2ers use one-looking to find efficient solutions, and compare different ones. I think 3x3 is having a similar trend right now, where people are one-looking just to not pause, but I don’t think there will be much payoff from one-looking, not until they use one-looking to find different solutions and be more efficient. Think that’s what we are seeing between Yiheng and Xuanyi, Xuanyi one-looks one solution for full f2l, but Yiheng plans multiple solutions for first two pairs and does the best one. TLDR: One-looking only has big payoff if you can plan multiple solutions with it.
I agree with most of this. It should be stated that at this point Xuanyi apparently now has a virtually 100% success rate at planning F2L in inspection, and absurdly, a 40% success rate at also predicting the ZBLS. There's something to consider here, though. Given the difficulty of planning all of F2L in the first place, you almost certainly inevitably have to find something close to optimal F2L anyway. In other words, if there's only one solution you can see that's popping out at you, but it is popping out, it's doubtful there's another with less moves anyway or it would be the one popping out. When planning the entirety of F2L, you're going to be pretty unlikely to plan some totally trashy solution with a lot of convoluted moves while something easier was just sitting around for free. You'll be automatically looking for low move counts to pull it off at all. What I'm getting at, is that with the ability to plan F2L entirely, a shortcut to finding the best solution is probably the fact that you can see it at all.
@@STUCUBE Yea bro just keep your head up I've had channels in the past and videos performed so poorly out of nowhere. The vid was great man idk why RUclips isn't recommending it
Worth watching again. Apparently impossible doesn't exist in cubing. And even Yiheng is slower than 6/7 year olds. That does make me feel a tiny bit better.
yiheng is not slower than them, even tho he can plan less he is significantly more efficient, it's kinda like tymon against everyone else with yiheng compared to xuanyi
I mentioned it in the discord, but basically idk what’s happening with the video but YT didn’t show it to anyone that isn’t subbed and it might be happening again, but idk
only real tax evaders know that this is a reupload
Nah i just saw the notification
I'm on the run rn

Amazing video again, you keep us updated about the newest cubing news!

Your editing is great!
