Amanohashidate is located in Miyazu Bay, Miyazu City, in the north of Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. It is a special natural landscape. Due to the pushing of the earth's crust, a sandbar terrain is formed on the sea. It is known by the Japanese as Tango Amanohashidate. Miyajima in Aki and Matsushima in Mutsu are jointly known as the "Three Scenic Spots of Japan".
