Amazon Interview Experience | FAANG Interview process | SDE | 2022

Hello friends,
Recently I got a chance to interview with Amazon. In this video, I talked about my experience and the selection process for an Amazon SDE position.
Even though I got rejected it was a great learning experience. This was the first time I interviewed with one of the FAANG companies. I hope you find this video helpful. Also all the best to everyone preparing for Amazon/FAANG interviews.

It wasn't anything specific. These can be any questions related to the code. Like why did you choose dfs over bfs. Also, time complexity, space complexity, or how many times this function will be called etc.

Here are some samples:
Tell me about your most challenging project?
Tell me about a time when you disagreed with a coworker?
Tell me about a time when you had to deliver a project under a tight deadline?
Give me an example of a time when something you tried to accomplish and failed.
Tell me about a time when you had to use data to drive a decision?
Tell me about a time when you have been faced with a challenge where the best way forward or strategy to adopt was not “clear cut”. How did you decide the best way forward?

@alittlecoding Hey Arif , like i saw all the overseas interview experience of amazon on youtube your video is such a amazing ,as you say ,they are not so much hard can you share resources for Object oriented design (OOD) . and aslo for LLD ..please arif , its really helpful for everyone and to overseas for which location you are interviewing ,

bhai dsa rounds me code text editor pe likhna padta hai ya koye compiler hota hai , jisse run karne pe pata chal jata hai unko ke kitne test cases pass hore ?

Mostly yes. For me the interviewers were foreigners.

Object oriented design and system design are different ???

Yes. Object oriented is about programming. System design is about complete system architecture. Like apis, backend, frontend, db schemas etc.

How will be Object oriented and HLD questions to be answered.. LLD - will there be any console given to us ? For HLD - do we need to draw diagrams ? Is the interview virtual or in the Amazon's office ?

A simple online text editor will be provided.
There was scope for drawing diagrams.
It was a virtual interview.

For DSA it's mostly leetcode midium level questions. I was asked leetcode.com/problems/word-search/
For system design, it can be anything. Tiny URL, RUclips, insta, chat system etc.
