    It's a shame our Cali wild fires have clouded the sky there...I went to Moab a couple times with bikes and buddies....drive through Zion....what a gorgeous park! Great place to check the views on a Mt Bike!

      I have been to Moab twice for their Halloween Festival and it was a blast! What a gorgeous place to ride...my buddies and I enjoyed Slick Rock as well the views from up there. We drove through Zion on the way from Cali to Utah and what a beautiful place that is. I'd love to ride the trails around there! ........

    Thank you for sharing the details about Zion. I'll put this ride on my bucket list. My wife and I just go Class-2 eBikes and looking to explore paved trails. We are about to visit Henderson, NV in late Feb 2023. Can you recommend some good trails to ride on near Henderson? My wife's eBike is more of a commuter bike so she wants to avoid gravel trails as much as possible. Thank you for your advice in advance.

      See this video and read video description for details. There is also earlier videos we made on the River Mountain Trail and Wetlands Loop Trail. All great, paved or graded… Late Feb should be ideal temps for all of these: Amazing Easy 12 Mile Scenic Bike Ride - Lake Mead, Rails to Trails, Hoover Dam

      @@BikeRidez thank you for the link to the other video. Will research the other trails you have in the vLog in Henderson. I’ll probably ride them. Cheers!

    Great rides and my new favorite channel. Just finishing up a little research before ordering the Luna X2. :)

      Sorry, I missed your comment months ago. How is your experience with the X2 going now. I must tell you I was a bit bummed that i purchased two X1's and after the 2nd one arrived, the next order they did was for the X2 model. I would have waited had I any idea. I probably would have ordered an X2 by now but I really dislike the Galaxy black and Erik the owner of Luna is stuck on that one color right now. Please let me know how your X2 is going. Thank you!

    What time of year was this? The roads seem quiet which I like to see. We have e-bikes and this is on our bucket list. Thanks from Oregon!

    Awesome view! So they allow you to ride ebikes anywhere at Zion, or do they have some restrictions?

    • @BikeRidez
      @BikeRidez  2 года назад +2

      They do allow e-bike riding in Zion. I think the sheet said that it was restricted to class 2 e-bikes. The X1 is considered a class 3 because of the power and throttle. I think they just don't want morons racing around using throttle only. Just be considerate, make sure you are always pedaling (if your ebike has a throttle), obey the rule to get out of the way and move to the right and come to a full stop when the shuttles pass and I don't think you will have any problems). There are also multiple e-bike rental places just outside of the park.

    was half a day ebike rental enough to explore zion?

    • @BikeRidez
      @BikeRidez  2 года назад +1

      I think it only took us 2 hours and that was with a lot of stopping to take photos, eat, etc... So a 4 hour rental should be more than enough.

    Where did you park your car? And how much was parking?

    • @BikeRidez
      @BikeRidez  2 года назад +1

      We came from Bryce Canyon so i think we came in the North or maybe its the East entrance. But we arrived around 6am and the entrance was open but there was no charge to get in the park. We parked in the main visitors parking lot. Since we were there before the park opened at 7am, the parking lot was pretty empty.

    What camera are you using for these amazing video shots?

    • @BikeRidez
      @BikeRidez  2 года назад

      At that time I was only using the Insta360 One R. The majority of the shots are with the 4K mod, but there are some 360 mod shots in there too which I scaled up to 4k (Insta 360 One R and One RS both only shoot in 1080p when using the 360 mod).

    Are you riding an X1 or an Apollo?

    • @BikeRidez
      @BikeRidez  3 года назад

      Luna Cycle X1 Enduro. My bike has the Ludi 2000 watt mod and my girls is the standard 1000 watt peek

      @@BikeRidez Well I had an order on a new X1 but Kelly, from Luna, was nice enough to unwind the deal because I had found an Apollo in Texas (actually before I bought the X1, but the gent took a long time to reply to my offer). The current owner bought it last May and only put 24 miles on it. He's in his 60's and it scares him a little he says from the power. I've been riding and racing motorcycles since I was a young teenager, so I'm not concerned as I'm 70 myself! ;-) ! I should get it by next week as I'm like a little kid at Christmas!

      @@BikeRidez hey quick question do you have the silent gear upgrade and if so have you experienced any reliable issues with it? Also I’m planning on getting the standard motor not the ludicrous mode. What kind of range do you and your wife get and how fast do they go on throttle only or when the electric system stops helping you? I have an Aventon Aventure now and plan on selling it to get an X1
