I can't break an 85 score and still suck...but this guide is so damn helpful. There's so many micro-mechanics within mechanics within macro-mechanics. If anything...this has certainly made the game more fun for me. Good shit bro.
Yeah, I just started last night and realized this game's only level, where you start off, has more mechanics than most other games where they slowly introduce them over hours of gameplay. It's like dividing into "the last level" head first from your first run.
1:50 lmfao "here is the best way to kill a spider" voice line from pilotredsun's "Burners" video. I specifically always crack up at that one line so seeing it in the wild really proves we live in a simulation.

Thanks so much. The only similar game I have played in Thumper, which has a decent amount of movement tech that it doesn’t explicitly teach, rather gets you to invent it by trying to score higher, so in the end most of the tech is directly related to scoring. I am not absorbing any of this tech at the moment but I hope to in the future when I’m good at swimming :)
honestly, getting 130 and only using laser once or twice, and now seeing all the laser related tips, sorta gives me hope that i could get like 200 in the near future. maybw deicide even. thanks for the video!
