Aki's model flaws are a sign of that (she's flatter than she should be, Aki Model update Doko?), though back then there wasn't much L2d experience as a whole.... now 5 years later we have l2ds like Nerissa's
Man, Aki had a rough upbringing, I remember when she was the lowest subscribed member and she just put so much passion regardless of the hate and the lack of views then that video exploded in the internet that made people sympathize a lot more with her and her channel started to get massive subscribers left and right, I have never stopped supporting her since the beginning! IF it was not for Matsuri I wouldn't have known about Aki.
@@ahdandimas6577 Back then Hololive didn't have as many subscribers or supporters and they had a lot of antis and they had to work really really hard to get new members, not like the newest generations today and if I remember correctly Aki was struggling with the 140K subscribers back then, I think Flare was just barely above Aki at 170K but even then Aki stagnated for a long time, I think she also had a car accident that made her fall behind with her generation so she was slowly being left behind. When Korone, Aqua and Fubuki were close to 800k subscribers back then. Most antis were Chinese, some JP's and others.
Aki needs to reach 1m subs tbh. She deserves it. She's been around long enough. I mean she's part of Gen 1. Mel got terminated before 1m subs. We never know what's gonna happen. A-chan retiring, Mio now has a serious health problem. We should show them love while they're around.
Yet there are still people who thinks that New Gen Debuting to 100k+ viewers is somehow Unfair for "Some" Vtubers, not knowing the History of Hololive and its Talents.
I believe Nijisanji's Tsukino Mito streamed on an old laptop placed on a washing machine. And now new talents are probably streaming on BEEFY PCs. Times really have changed.
@@Fishman465 Ye, AZKi even got into Geoguessr because it was one of few things her PC could run comfortably while streaming. Turns out she's a geography juicer, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Aki had such a hard time the first couple of years, it nearly broke her. Hospitalisation, demonetisation, AMSR bans, everything seemed stacked against her. Back in like 2020 maybe she did an emotional stream saying how she felt about being the least-subbed member of Hololive, some clip channel translated it, which was popular with EN viewers and she picked up ~20k subs overnight to take her over 200k I think it was, and that was a huge deal for her. It seems like such small numbers compared to what they have now but it obviously meant a lot at the time.
Back then, perception of Hololive to put it bluntly : " What the heck is this bootleg Nijisanji? " 2018 the year when word Vtuber starts to spread out and 3D Vtuber is the norm, Nijisanji came with an app for people to become a Vtuber with Live2D model and people questioning " why would I watch an hours of "stiff 2DVtuber when I can watch Expressive 3D neatly edited Vtuber video? ". Today is way different, so many bitter&sweet happened and I'm glad Hololive and all their talent pull through.

Aki's model flaws are a sign of that (she's flatter than she should be, Aki Model update Doko?), though back then there wasn't much L2d experience as a whole.... now 5 years later we have l2ds like Nerissa's
I can feel her struggle with the slow connection. :D
Aki walk so Kouhai can fly ❤
Aki-chan debut stream is like a dragon or a phoenix.. everyone know of it but none has ever seen it
Aki: “Between you and me…”
40k people: “interesting”
Early hololive debuts were WILD.
Man, Aki had a rough upbringing, I remember when she was the lowest subscribed member and she just put so much passion regardless of the hate and the lack of views then that video exploded in the internet that made people sympathize a lot more with her and her channel started to get massive subscribers left and right,
I have never stopped supporting her since the beginning! IF it was not for Matsuri I wouldn't have known about Aki.
That's why I usually stick with the underdog of each gen. It's always a good time when they burst into their deserved popularity.
Matsuri is the first Rosetai. Always fond of bringing Aki into things.
who the freak hating Akirose and for what reason,
@@ahdandimas6577 Back then Hololive didn't have as many subscribers or supporters and they had a lot of antis and they had to work really really hard to get new members, not like the newest generations today and if I remember correctly Aki was struggling with the 140K subscribers back then, I think Flare was just barely above Aki at 170K but even then Aki stagnated for a long time, I think she also had a car accident that made her fall behind with her generation so she was slowly being left behind.
When Korone, Aqua and Fubuki were close to 800k subscribers back then.
Most antis were Chinese, some JP's and others.
@@DaimonAnimations those people are disgusting
Aki needs to reach 1m subs tbh. She deserves it. She's been around long enough. I mean she's part of Gen 1. Mel got terminated before 1m subs. We never know what's gonna happen. A-chan retiring, Mio now has a serious health problem. We should show them love while they're around.
For those that are curious, here's how the Mirrativ streams were.... ruclips.net/video/SW06X_r-PB8/видео.htmlsi=5VRYmKeGFGedoHBI
I am so glad she never gave up
It's been said many times, but Hololive has come a long way. It's crazy how a bunch of little things added up to what Hololive is today.
Yes, we have the Mirrativ debut copy. It's there hidden in the wide internet.
Funny thing is, shubas cutest asmr voice is done through her smartphone trick
I have seen that debut and boy it was bad, not for Aki herself but the scuffness was of the charts
Imagine where Aki would be if she had a proper debut and hype built up around her at the start. Please support Aki
Aki deserves a redebut
Yet there are still people who thinks that New Gen Debuting to 100k+ viewers is somehow Unfair for "Some" Vtubers, not knowing the History of Hololive and its Talents.
I believe Nijisanji's Tsukino Mito streamed on an old laptop placed on a washing machine. And now new talents are probably streaming on BEEFY PCs.
Times really have changed.
Some of them like Ame and Botan have basically compact mainframes. Or even two rigs are once, one to game and the other to manage the stream.
Most, some like Sora and AZKi were behind computer wise due to their music focuses, though Sora got a beef PC recently
@@Fishman465
Ye, AZKi even got into Geoguessr because it was one of few things her PC could run comfortably while streaming. Turns out she's a geography juicer, and the rest, as they say, is history.
@@DinnerForkTongue and likely why she never streamed her RUST; do wonder if she's planning on upgrading
@@Fishman465 I sure hope so. If anything, it'll feed my pipe dream of her playing Kholat. lol
nice, akirose and subaru!
nice akirose origin story.
I wish I could have seen that debut
Streaming your debut on a smart phone is total hardcore!!! Aki really is amazing 😍😍😍
"ASMR on a phone?! That IS crazy."
Said Subaru who also used a phone to do her noncursed ASMR voice.
Love Aki !! 💛💛💛💛💛
". Today is way different, so many bitter&sweet happened and I'm glad Hololive and all their talent pull through.
the fact she has no debut means she has been there from the beginnin of time sasuga aki
Love Her 3D concerts
Ironically, with the advancements of technology we have today, steaming using nothing but a smartphone is actually possible now, probably.
It's easy to find her OG debut stream, you just need to look very carefully as you browse the Web.
I love aki❤
the best jokes is your own history
