Just received some MTEC spacers for my E63 630i Sport.. 15mm rear, 10mm front.. that wheel pin looks very useful, I was already thinking how I was going to line up the wheel with the holes whilst putting the stud in..
Installation instructions clearly say not to add any anti seize grease etc to the back of the spacer. It is to be applied around the smaller oem center hub lip. Spacer should sit completely flush to the hub without anything in between.
I liked your video . Very helpful . I wanted to know that I have got 18 inch alloys on 3 series 318d 2009 m msport and I already got 8mm spacer . I want to change it to 15mm . Would you think it will be fine to do that. Do let me know thanks
Great video. Did you experience any rubbing after installing these spacers? I am looking to do the same (10mm in the front and 15mm in the rear) on stock suspension but want to make sure it doesn't rub. Thank you.
The front tyre gap on my e60 is 15mm and the rear wheel gap to fender is 20mm. The rears are further in. What spacers would be best 5mm front and 15or 20mm rear? I want the rears to have more poke. I want the rears to stick ot staggered compared to the fronts. Do I leave the 15mm gap at front and go for 15 or 20mm just on the rears? Let me know which ones you would go for to give it the desired look. I am on the original 17’s but lowered 30mm only. Please let me know
Hey, I can't find the vid I saw from you last night asking for local people with N54s... I've just got (mostly) done going through a basket case '09 535i XDrive Wagon. It was dead stock and neglected with 155k miles, but had a lot of good going for it -- all highway miles, previous owner paid $$$ for dealer to replace turbos 65k miles ago, so a good place to start! After intake cleaning, lots of maintenance, parts, failures and MHD tune, it's a beast! I'm in the North part of Westerville. If you want to chat, let me know!
Don’t know if you’d benefit from it but personally I got a stud conversion kit from APEX and i love them! Makes taking the wheels on and off super easy and I love the look of them over lug bolts!
Nice video brotha! Would you consider doing a tutorial on adding some negative camber for improved handling? I'm pulling the pins from the front but not sure about the rear 🤔
Nice video 👌. I'm thinking to install spacers on my 06 BMW 330i, I have 225/45/17 all round set up and I want to add 20mm just for the rear wheels. Would you suggest these spacers ? Thanks in advance.
@@briandewolfe22 Uhm! My radio is the stock factory one. But I will look at the eonon one. My buddy installed it in his 335. It was so much work cutting the dashboard and all that. I don't know if that will void the extended warranty I have on it.
The new 2020 9 inch doesn't require you to cut up ur dash. Two small clips to cut but it was very easy instal and makes my car look so sexy. Now I just got to get rid of these ugly walnut trim pieces lol
I know this is a little bit off the topic but my 07 e90 335i has something wrong with the front end.when I hit the brakes I feel like both my front wheels are shifting backwards and sometimes I get a bad something metal breaking sound from under the front any help is very much appreciated love your videos btw
i know this video is old but this made adding and removing spacers a joke 😂 its so easy, ive struggled for months putting the wheels on and off before this
Great video, dude! The only thing that concerns me is wheel rub. I have a 328iX and I know the wheel offset is super important so I am not sure how putting on spacers could effect the offset and create issue like wheel rub. I once had a car with wheel rub so bad that chunks of rubber would fly off occasionally. As you can imagine, I am super hesitant to do setting like this because I don't want a repeat of that particular issue, but I also don;t want to create any other wheel issues. Anyway, great video so I subbed!

Once again I want to thank you. Thanks to you and your videos I am doing car maintenance that I haven't tried in years.
MrAlsfan5 great to hear!
I like how your mods are very subtle and tasteful

Great video and by the way it’s necessary to go for balancing after spacer installed. Thanks
would be interested in seeing what the 12mm look like in the front. and if possible 20mm look like in the rear

Correct, but had one that was stuck on, which is why I started doing this
Hey! Consider switching to stud and nut conversion to lock down those sweet spacers! I explain the benefits that and more in my very first video!
Is your suspension stock? I'm adding coilovers and I don't think 15mm would help... Any suggestions or opinions? Thx...

Hello man! So after two years have passed, how your luck with the mentioned above? Any experience you can share, please?
thanks for the video. i just placed my BMS 12/15mm wheel spacers.
Do you know is 17mm sockets are for the f32 428’s too?
Is it worth buying the Eibach wheel spacers

Does this fit a 328i? If I were to go with a 20mm. As well would you keep front and rear same size ? And if not what would you suggest ? Thank youu :)

Great video! Thanks for providing links for tools!

What sizes of Wheel Spacer should I put on my 2009 BMW 335xi Coupe?
The wheel spacers gives off a better look.
My car is a 15 to 25 offset and i like a kit of wheels but they are 35 and 37 offset what kind of spacers i can use?

Do you need extended lug bolts for a 15mm spacer or a stud conversion?
Extended bolts, yep

Sounds like your brake pads are moving inside your calipers, take your wheel off and check the pads for movement.
@@Silverbullet767 that's a great suggestion I will definitely check it out thank you
Great video...i have 15 back and 12 front no rub and looks good...

I have an E90 with 19 inch rims BMW BBS style 230, has anyone installed wheel spacers on a E90 with 19 inch rims?
Why would a 20mm spacer be cheaper than the 10? Doesn't it take more material to make a 20?
They might sell more of them...
scott m most likely not a hot seller
Hello, can I mount 15mm spacers with same wheels?
Forgot to mention: on front
It would be nice if he would respond to questions instead of the few people that just compliment the video

Wait! My lug nuts are female, but yours were male (I.e., bolts, not nuts)! What am I missing?

Spacers are God's way of telling you your wheels do not have the optimal offset nor, most likely, the optimal rim width.
God should tell engineering at BMW then.

Ummmm... rip wheel bearing??? Or nah
First view :)
so at the end what did u use 10 infornt and 15 in the back? or 10 front and 12 in the back
I’ve done 10 front and 12 rear…but I now have the 15 rear as seen in the video. The 15 has been perfect
