I used manual wheelchairs all my life, but i changed to power chairs at age 23 because i wasn't strong enough to push my chair around anymore. I salute those of you who still use manual wheelchairs.
at the age of 51 i have just done the same few weeks ago but still got a manual chair for when i go out in the car which isnt that often these days

Love your new ride & thank you for sharing, I believe you well become very accustomed to it in no time at all. I myself am not looking forward to going through the process of getting a new chair, it always such a hassle 🙃 and I do understand the frustration and the struggle of trying to get the chair in and out of the car/van. Another trick that i have seen on pulling it across you would be to place your seat belt on and lean your chair all the way back if your well go back, this gives you more room to work with. I hope all u hat is wrong with your car is as simple as a fuse. Take care and have a great day!!!

I understand how physically and emotionally taxing transporting your wheelchair can be. That's why I am looking into getting the Revolve Air wheels or wheelchair. Or some other form of a compact wheelchair as my back up chair and if in the future I need to use it with non accessible vehicle. Hopefully you'll find ways to make the process easier for you in the future.
Thanks for sharing, I salute you overcoming obstacles. The vlog did seem to end with happiness. I'm sure that you would master loading the wheelchair if you did it often and the car was better suited to that situation.
Sincerely, happy you've got a better fitting WC. Any guess to it's weight as configured? Like the look of it, sits higher, less dump. And, about the struggles with no assistance...well... is good to know help is there if you need it. But, it may be better to simply live like there'll never be help when you need it the most. Is kind of an approach to adaptive living as i do it. Hopefully, that's not too presumptuous to say but wanted to share it. Have a blessed day...
Looks strangely like the Motion Composites Apex, that’s a pretty sweet chair with the natural fit hand rims, no more getting thumb knuckles caught ☺️

What do people do with their old chairs? Are there any recomended sites for buying people's used ( but still far better than my own ) wheelchairs? Thanks.
Usually they re-sell them or give them away. I guess it varies per country what marketplaces are preferred.

Are you (still) happy with your Quickie Nitrum? I am getting mine in about 7,5 weeks (had my fitting last Thursday).
It will be my first, and I am looking for what other people think about it! I know I need to experience it myself, but I am just wondering if other people are happy with it or not!

why didnt u call anwb for the van, its a electrical problem but theyll be coming to you, and those guys are quite experienced, they might not necesarrily be repair it, but theyll probably be able to bypass some system to make it work till you can get it properly fixed, or atleast diagnose whats broken exactly
Mag ik vragen of jij je rolstoel rechtstreeks via sunrise medical hebt? Ik ben van plan binnenkort ook naar het expirience centre te gaan maar ik dacht dat je alleen terecht kon bij leveranciers waar de gemeente een contract mee heeft.
Je kan bij Sunrise langs gaan en ze kunnen je verder adviseren over de mogelijkheden en het aanvragen via de gemeente.

@@FelinaTiger because u say its another height and posture when u compared with your old chair and i was curious because i will order the same model and i dont know whats the perfect height to choose , i choose mine front 50 and back 47 without seat cushion
