Our legal system is flawed because of the people with the power to circumvent its purpose or intent. These people are the very people that create and execute our laws at the state and federal level. They want to convince us that it’s raining when they’re actually urinating on our legs when they use words like nationalism and patriotism. Yet, they attempt to vilify those of us that believe in Americanism. I hope Trump is indicted, tried, found guilty and sentenced to spend the rest of his sorry life in federal prison at Ft Leavenworth.

I'm a huge fan of John Stewart for a multitude of reasons, and _really_ wish he'd run for office. When Trevor took over he had some big shoes to fill, and to begin with, I was pretty "meh" in regards to him. But as times gone on he's gotten much more comfortable in the role and made the show uniquely his. Now I look forward to watching every episode.
But I don't like Ronny Chieng. Not funny very often.

Special masters are generally used in civil cases to conduct proceedings and report back to the court. And they are generally retired judges and the like. The problem here is that they will need to be read in to review some of these highly classified documents. And that will take some time. Also, both parties have to agree on the person to be appointed. That may be challenging here.
Mostly used for materials taken from lawyers.

The real problem is that there is no legal precedent for this and doing it now means that every criminal can have a special master which costs hugely in time and money thanks to trump's rigged system yet again. I imagine the judge he appointed which gave him one will make sure the master is a trump thumper as well so that he has the best chance of getting all the evidence against him removed from government possession. Yay for the impartial American justice system.

how is a judge appointed by the person under scrutiny allowed to rule on anything concerning said persons investigation? no conflict of interest there?
Well quite a few attorneys and retired judges out there say that they believe this will be overturned. There is no need for a special master when the documents are already marked as confidential, classified, highly classified. He took them after he was no longer president therefore he has no right to those documents. They belong to the United States. Not to an individual! This is crazy… it needs to be overturned!

A special master is not unheard of in criminal cases especially involving high profile people, I honestly see nothing untoward about this, unless they appoint someone shady, then we call complain.
