I set a budget too George. Never take more than £30 to mine - only buy clothes though and my boot sale is a really cheap one. You have to hunt hard for good brands.

Great video again mate, always worth taking a loads of cash just in case! I’ve find boots sales have many resellers now! I try not to rely on them and source from online and contacts!
If you don't mind me asking mate, what sort of contacts? I've tried sourcing through some house clearance guys but they're never up for it and would always prefer going to auctions

I went to that bootsale, I bought a vintage 1960's ford granada spare wheel tool box, mint condition for a £5, going to sell it for £75.00 + great bootsale.

The competition is getting more intense as there is more and more people posting videos on RUclips and Tiktok on reselling. There is even people live streaming it all over Tiktok on a sunday morning.
Been the same for years, new sellers coming see how hard it is and fade
If you run out of money it’s always worth asking a seller is they will take bank transfer or PayPal or ask them to save it for you while you go and get some cash done this a few times

£50 is not alot to take to a booty. Doesnt matter what time of the year it is, people are still out selling and trying to make a few pounds especially in this time and age where prices for everything have gone up and wages haven't too meet the prices. I am looking forward to hitting the bootsales when they all kick off here. Never buy clothes at the bootsales unless the misses picks up items for personal. Some nice items there tho. Good luck with the sales :)
What's worth this vinted pro please? I saw online that we can sign up for it in the UK now but you have to be vat registered? Shame 😪 any idea uf you can buy then sell on vinted if you have it? X

I love finding good clothes at Carboots bought an Adidas jacket for £3 that i sold for nearly £100. A lot of people leave clothes but there can be some bangers

There are zero no new side hustle tax laws. You've always had to report & pay tax on profit from items you're buying to sell on. The only change is that companies now report transactions directly to HMRC
Our local Carboot starts on the 3rd of March, lesson I've learnt from this video, take at least £200 & plenty of IKEA bags.
