I tried derma rolling and I think it made my edges even worse! That was the last straw for me- I decided to get my hair transplant shortly after that.... I love your progress!
Have you tried black seed oil?
@@meinternally No, I didn't- I doubt there was anything that could bring my edges out because a lot of the bulbs/follicles were pulled out. I may try it in future though for maintainence now I've had my transplant- thanks.
How’s the transplant???? 👀 and thank you
No problem. And I wish you the best on your hair journey
@@meinternally thanks so much!
Your dedication is unmatched Sis! I protective style like you and my wigs allow me to create different looks! I am on a collagen peptide journey starting today! Joint, hair, skin, nails health!
Love it! Health all around. I’m on this journey with you 💕
You done really well. I just want to say it took a while to damage your edges so it will take time to repair them. I have started derma rolling again, hope to keep up with it this time.
Hey Ms! Consistency is definitely key even though it hurts like crazy 🥴
@@tamithecreator Life got in the way 😂. I try to derma roll when I am not going anywhere the next day to give wounds time to close up.
You should use a derma-stamp instead of a roller.. it causes FAR less physical damage, while still getting the depth required for the recovery action. You can also choose which depth you want with the stamp. the roller causes the needles to enter and exit at an angle which damages the skin more than necessary.. The stamp hurts way less and has much less recovery time.
😍😍😍😍 seeing the difference, seeing the growth, loving the outcome. Definitely Definitely going to try this.
Good for you!! Determination and consistency has done well for you and your edges 😍
I see the difference between the before and after with the dermarollers. Keep it up!
Thanks so much Aunty Tennille! 💕
Wow, I’ve never seen such a thorough ‘update of the process’ before. Excellent vid sis.
Your results are worth the effort! Keep going!
You're doing so great! Your hair is healthy and flourishing. I was feeling really down about my journey & this was the pick me up I needed. You've truly been an inspiration! I tried the shots and they didn't work for me but your experience will likely be different! You've made so much progress on your own, keep it up!
First off thank you beautiful! Second off the shots didn’t work?? Why not? 👀 and also pain wise what was it 1-10? How many injections? At this point you’re influencing me lol
Girllll, the derm told me that I would need 6 rounds of shots (and didn’t do a biopsy, despite my request, big mistake!) The first round was quite painful and my head was pounding afterwards but only for a few hours. The subsequent rounds werent as bad. I went for 5 rounds because the shots were covered by my insurance, but I had a copay and I had to pay for parking. On the last round the derm was like… yeah this isn’t working, but didn’t give me a reason why. And proceeded to recommend me to other derms. I didn’t go for the last round because I thought it was pointless. For me personally I felt like the derms I went to pushed treatment options on me that aren’t viable or sustainable (i.e, rogaine, shots, prp, etc.) because they want my money/service. And they take advantage of the fact that people want quick results. I’m taking matters into my own hands now (& God’s lol) and taking my time to nourish my hair back to life. And your videos have been so helpful in this journey!
Thank you for showing what you did then ❤
Thank you for the update
You're doing fantastic
Love&Light 💛
I can definitely see the difference more so on one side than the other. Good job Sis! I too have started. I’m just taking it more seriously than before. I do it in a stamping motion verses the rolling motion. Hoping it works. ❤
I definitely see improvements😍 Well done!
My hair always gets caught in the needles 😪 there’s a clear difference in your edges progression🎉
It sure does get caught in the needles but you can use a derma-pen or derma-stamp instead, which is better for curly hair ppl because u dont have to roll it through the hair
You actually need to use a stamp sis. Rollers are really meant for bald heads
@@shawnise311 Ok! Going to Amazon now. Thank you for sharing your knowledge sis. Appreciate you!
@@keshahunt1476 Appreciate the info. I had no idea. Thank you thank you.
I’ve been following you and your hair journey…you give me so much hope! Thank you!
Your hair is looking healthy! I definitely see the results. I might try derma but I hate needles 😭😭😁😁
It’s not fun but it’s worth it lol 😩🥴
so much progress!! ❤❤ Thank you for the update
when I did my hair journey, I was extremely lazy. I did dermarolling and minoxidil on my hairline and beard but in the end. I just ended up doing dermarolling my beard only. It did help 100%. My hairline has always been bad for like 8+ years so I figured now I should start demorolling my hairline . I tried telling a lot of friends to use minoxidil for there beard but people dont wanna go through the process.
I used Equate minoxidil foam 3 month suppply at walmart for 8-9 months
You're doing great continue on the same path you continue to inspire me to be consistent with growing my natural hair remember I told you I had a similar hair situation as you and my edges came out i did a big chop again in the ending of February this year and trust me I love the results am seeing so far.
Love that your journey is going well so far! It’s not easy but the small victories make it worth it. Continue to keep me updated💕💕
Awesome video. Love your consistency. Great results
2:29 your hair line is looking good.
Congratulations I can See the Progress with your Edges. Kisses
IPPY White Rice oil
Started growing my edges back in a month !!!!
You have come so far with your hair journey, your edges have improved a great deal and the thickness of your hair also. I might try that product you using minoxidil and see what happens. I would like to see your hair routine and the things you use in your hair. Thanks for sharing
I just found your channel, but I am so glad I did. My edges have become very thin. So, I am going to try this technique. I see it has really helped to improve your edges. Thanks fir the great tips. I just joined your channel.
Thank you for your share. Keep up the good work & giving us the updates✌🏽
First time seeing those needles..
Very nice progress 🎉
I had this too, I didn’t want to use minoxidil as the side effects seemed awful and I didn’t want it in my bloodstream. I started stamping and using Caliciem which promotes hair follicular , it helped a lot, I saw a difference in two weeks following the system, I then I put braids 🙄 and it ripped my hair, so I’m starting again with calecium! It pricey but it’s worth it along with patience aslong as you have faint hair in the area.
Thanks for sharing your journey 😊
I suffer from the same! But it’s only on my left side. When using the minoxidil just put in on that spot don’t rub it in the rest of your hair! But great progress ❤️
why just on that spot? I’m using minoxidil as well
@@becoming.océane my dermatologist told me if I ever decide to stop that part won’t come out but on other parts if you stop you’ll lose hair! So you have to be really careful where it goes.
Wow 🤩 you’re doing well 👍
It looks great
7:55 Nice
You got hair plz switch to adjustable dermastamps because the roller might catch the root and pull off
well done sis
Pls do a lot of updates don't let us wait too much ❤❤❤😢😢
Thanks for sharing 👍🏽
5:55 Your hair is looking good.
Thank you so much!
You go girl ❤❤❤❤❤
I use the derma pen instead of derma needling let's see.
Use pure sage oil from a health food store, mix this oil in your hair grease and apply to your scalp and edges it will grow back yet don’t mix with the other product
I mixed my growth oil in Aquahor cream and it's helping my hair grow back in but taking something internally will.help.alot too
Beautiful
You look very pretty with short hair 💅🏽❤
I don’t think the edges will recover if you keep wearing wigs and tight protective styles
No minoxidil. Switch to Ayurvedic methods like hair tea (green or black tea) or rosemary or clove oil. More effective than minoxidil and no side effects. Once you use minoxidil, you have to keep using it :(
First of all you’re gorgeous. Second, how’d you know I had my herbs brewing next to window lol I’m trying to ween off the chemicals and start my actual natural hair journey. I’m making the switch to Ayurvedic herbs next week :)
@tamithecreator switching to Ayurveda is awesome!!! Try drinking sprouted funegreek seeds. Soak them in water for 24 hours then strain and drink the water. But be careful because I heard it can make your breast bigger and mess with your period but don't know exactly how just research it or you can try MSM just look up Curly Proverbs here on RUclips she is the GOAT of Ayurveda!!!❤
Awesome
I took a hair growth supplement years ago. I.cannot for the life of me think of the websites name and i even Googled it and it still didnt come up. But i tookthose supplements faithfully and they were the only product that ACTUALLY grew my edges back in. $100 for.three bottles and I would definitely pay that price again if i ever find out the name of the supplements again
Look into PRP hair treatments, it helped thicken my edges.
Try two strand twist instead of braids. Traction alopecia
I don’t know how to twist 🥴
@@tamithecreatorteyy and find a stylist that knows how to do natural hair and have two strand twist your hair
🔥
Yay! Minoxidil is great! Its helped me quite a lot honestly i have the issue too and my dermatologist put me on 5%, i used it for 3 months till i started experiencing the side effects, thn i stoped but in 6 weeks i saw baby hairs, so expect that as well, i switched to vegamour and its making a huge difference its vegan and natural.
Hey! What’s vegamore?
@tamithecreator it's a hair serum, I have been using for about a month and it's really improved my hairline bring back thickness and am using hair vitamins they have really helped me a lot look for vegamour gro serum and just read reviews and see.
Hi what side effects did you experience? I wanna try but I'm afraid
@chanika5651 the ones listed on the behind the box you will see them, but again I did not experience anything till 6 weeks later.
@@Selfcaregirlcare thank you
Use derma pen instead of the roller
Need this please
My edges is kind of like this from braids
But will it grow back
I’m thinking i have alopecia where my hair won’t grow back 😢
I'm inspired
Even though you tell us every step and ingredients for oils, I was trying to find you on social media to see styles. Couldn't find you😢
Awww I don’t have any social media other than RUclips 😬 I’m going to try to start making shorts so you can see how I style my hair when I’m not wearing a wig.
Do you have a link for the mirconeedling device you use?
Its in the caption below the video.
😍😍😍
Is that supposed to open your hairs pores?
DONT DO KNOTLESS BRAIDS!! that destroys your hair!!!
❤
Is there a numbing cream you can use before doing the micro needling?
That’s actually a really good question omg
Wow you're beautiful
Whose hair fell out after they've stop using minoxidil? That my hesitation of using minoxidil
A lot of people lol it’s a known thing that if you start minoxidil you will most likely lose your results. That’s why I never wanted to use it but I decided to give it a shot since this little bottle is $10
@@tamithecreatorplease please try Ayurveda, if you can wean yourself from using Minioxidil
This is why braids and weaves aren’t for me. This looks like it hurts like hell
IDK gurl your hair seems dry try to keep moisturized twice daily, sleep with a humidifier at night maybe...
I see where this comment comes from, most of the clips I show my hair freshly washed with no product. I moisturize every other day under my wigs though, my pillow case shows proof 🤣 appreciate the feedback though
@@tamithecreator Depending on where you live and what type moisturizer. I try to keep it as moisturized as a jerry curl not that much but close to it. I found some success with the bask and lather products. Also I have been taking niacin B3 and it rushes blood to my scalp and thats when I moisturize and massage. Niacin opens up blood vessels and helps with anxiety amongst other things. Careful there is a burn that comes with niacin that some can't take but after a while the body gets use to it.
Cloves water can do this in 4 months.
Clove water didn’t work for me unfortunately
Maybe you has to sleep in your back!
This is the most craziest thing I've ever saw I would never try this method there's other ways to have your edges to grow then to have needles rolling on your edges and you received a lot of views for this I stopped this video as soon as you had the banana's to show the sharpness of the needle's so no this is a pass for me and like you said it hurts really 🔥🤔
Hey! This technique is not for everybody, do what works for you
A Tr@in Wreck ... Hair Vide0 !!
Hey thanks! 💕
Niiiiiiiiiiice. Her hair is coming along beautifully
🥰
another great vid!!!
