Let's Talk About James - Diagnosis, Genetic Condition, Services - Disabled - Special Needs - MECP2

This week I talk about James' diagnosis, genetic condition, education and our struggle to get services whilst walking around Hay Wood.
James has a rare genetic condition called MECP2 Duplication Syndrome.
Although he is severely disabled, he is a very happy boy. He loves being outdoors and loves our adventures to different places.
We created 'Just For James' to document his journey living with MECP2 Duplication Syndrome.

Thank you for sharing your ongoing fight trying to get the support needed for James and your family. It's really eye opening seeing some of the challenges you face when doing such a simple thing as going for a walk, which I certainly take for granted.
