Faith Dixon that's me. we met years ago in 5th grade. we were super awkward and it started when we asked what each other's favorite colors were. i still chuckle looking back at it. i can't help but realize i lost her. i've always been scared of losing her, mostly because i've been alongside her for so long that i don't know what to do without her, but now that i really lost her i'm a mess.

Hindsight is twenty-twenty because your judgement isn't crowded by emotion. It is important to be logical in all situations, despite your current feelings, as they will ALWAYS subside. I think that people often blame themselves for the downfall of their relationships even if they only know half of the facts. I'm not saying you weren't partially responsible, but nine times out of ten it wasn't your fault. For example, when I wrote this comment, I was getting over a guy I had been in love with for only six months. I made plenty of mistakes, but they were mainly caused by my acknowledgement that he was "slipping through my fingers." In the end, our relationship wouldn't have worked out even if I hadn't have made the mistakes I made. There wasn't really anything wrong with him (to this day I have respect for him. I think he's a decent lad), and there wasn't anything wrong with me, either. We could've been well suited, but the timing was wrong and it just wasn't meant to be. It was difficult to accept that all my calculations seemed to fail for no legitimate reason, and that there was absolutely nothing to be done. I just had to accept that the unnecessary change was necessary.
A few years ago, my first boyfriend -now toxic/manipulative ex- sent me this after our breakup- I remember bawling my eyes out. I'm glad to be back, better and stronger. Listening to this song to "reclaim" it, and also because it's a beautiful piece. If you're in an unhealthy relationship and reading this: I want you to know that you have the strength to let go, that you have people who love and accept you for who you are, and that things will be okay.

The first girl I loved introduced me to this song, she perceives it as a happy song. I've wondered so long how a song of misery can turn you sunny just by hearing it to the point that she isn't a part of my life anymore and today i recalled how she said some things have to fall apart to make room for the better ones. This song makes me cry every time I listen to it. I was in a bad marriage for 18 years until I found the courage to walk away. I cry to this song every time because it reminds me of my struggle to let go and to move on, to open my heart to someone new. I cried not for my ex, but for my own struggles to finally shut the door to the past.
Way back 2017, I was listening to this song on my way home...the day I thought was the last day to see the person I love and had to let him go (back to his country) without telling him how I feel...was crying all the way, regretting the words left unsaid...but luckily, it wasn't the last for us, and got married the next year! Everytime I listen to this song, it reminds me of that day and gives me the thought to always say what you have to before it's too late💕

This song reminds me of my ex husband and I cant stop the tears upon listening it . After his twin brother died and he lost his job due to depression, He became physically abusive . He gave me divorce cause he did not want to hurt me but I wanted to stay by his side and help him fight which he didn't let me . It's been three years but I still miss you Alex !! I know we are still in love as much as we were the day you proposed.
Sounds similar to my ex. We were together for two years before his cousin was killed then he became mentally abusive towards me and would punch holes in my walls. He ended up breaking up with me because he didn't want to hurt me anymore. I still wanted to be with him because I knew he was just in pain, but he pushed me so far away and made me feel like I was nothing. So I went my own way.

My dog got sick last week and passed on Sunday 10/16. This song, though gut wrenching, gives me pain and comfort. It's like my little girl dog letting me know she always knew as she was getting older that day would come and that I gave her an amazing life and it had to happen. My dad died on 7.8.2019, after 1 months 6 days being diagnosed with Lymphoma non hodgkin. It has been 6 weeks since that day and I am trying to survive without him. Everyday is passing by like in the hell to me. Please rest in peace Daddy!

Read this book I beg of you, you won't regret it, this book will change you and make you feel and think about yourself and life in general. This book is a masterpiece in itself, and so much better than you think it could be, and I knew it was going to be special, but it was much more. This song matches the emotion in All The Bright Places, but not in a way you would except. Please take my words to heart, and do what I did by buying the book the first chance I got.

Me personally, never put up a fight while going through a breakup because I’ve been hurt so many times. The right one will come along unexpectedly for me and for whoever is going through the same thing.

It hasn't been a year since my uncle died, i made a tribute video for him with this song. It fits for him and his wife he left.
And now my grandma died a few days ago, today was the funeral. I wasnt there but i sang this song for her through video call.

In a week or two will be a years since my Great Grandma passed and I miss her so much! 🥺 she was the best, I could hardly hold together at her funeral, my Grammy and I went up there to say something and I told her, “ your a beautiful Angel Maw Maw,” she was a literal angel on earth she had the purest heart. And her smile, oh my Lord I can’t. I’m sorry.
