Keygens are key generators, when you pirate software you sometimes need them after “cracking” the program, they generate keys (passcodes) by interacting with the cracked program. Traditionally they are designed very quirky and start up playing the music composed by the team or person that made the keygen and the songs are usually pretty good and have a recognizable style like the one sampled on this track, kinda 8/16 bit with gliding notes and stuff 😎

​@@papasquat08 It's mainly because artists (especially smaller artists) delete their songs quite often. Twikipedia said in a interview that they like to delete and or change songs post release because they aren't happy with the finally result, notice mistakes or they just want to.
