Damn, Bootcampers being allowed to use Chatgpt is crazy. I understand chat overflow, but Chatgpt is a literal shortcut that can hinder the learning process, especially when students are on a time-crunch to complete and move on to a new section.

Abstraction is both good and bad. A comparison is like Python, it is powerful, can do a lot of things in a few lines of code, easy to understand and you appreciate its features but it's hard to master the advanced topics while C programming is low level and gives more control but it doesn't have OOP but combined with C++ then other topics can be considered basic like sorting ways like quick sort, etc. linked lists, pointers, etc. and shows what's under the hood unlike Python. AI help in coding sounds nice but I don't like it. I don't like it not because I hate it, it is just more helpful if students help other students in an interactive question and answer like in discord because it improves everyone. There are two sides to teaching. A student expects all things that will appear in the quiz to be topics covered in lecture and laboratory but there are people who think that teaching is spoon feeding. AI help skips the explanation or the process of failing, learning from that and improving solutions. AI is made from a sample of humans that are imperfect. AI is created from hand picked or random but what about creativity or just having fun. Is there discord group in bootcamps and are they helpful or not?
