He is very correct India should increase it's short range precision rockets, drones and cybersecurity to get any upper hand against the Chinese and Pakistan.

I think I would have to see the ramjet and hypersonic part of video few times to get it properly in my head but really enjoyed the simple definitions it made it look easy.

A rocket is a non-guided weapon. A missile can be guided to a target after it has been fired. An RPG or an old Bazooka are good examples of rockets as is the Soviet BM-21. All of these are aimed in the direction they want to go in and there is no follow-up to what they do. We all have a measurable reaction time. The average reaction time to visual stimulus is around 250 milliseconds, and most people seem to be hard-capped at around 190-200 ms with training. Some of the missiles can hit the targets before the human reaction time. This cannot be achieved by using fighter planes or any other equipment. You talked about cost. The Sukhoi Su-30, for example, is a popular multirole fighter jet produced by Sukhoi. Its unit cost can range from approximately $40 million to $65 million, depending on the version and specific requirements of the buyer. The hourly operating cost of a Sukhoi Su-30 can range between $15,000 and $25,000.18 Oct 2021. Airborne time for fighter aircraft during wartime is 15 minutes. The launching time of a missile during wartime is five minutes Tomahawk cruise missile cost is $4 million (FY2023). Missiles can be fired from Silos. So the importance of fighter planes will go down gradually.

I believe we should stop wasting billions importing expensive aircraft like the rafale, we should instead focus on long range precision strike missiles that we can produce in our country
