I've been using this for months. It's super powerful. So many options with this tool. Competior analysis, combine and repurpose older content, generate new content ideas, summarize, etc. Leaning a new skill or topic has increased exponentially with this tool. So much more. And It's only going to become more robust, especially when they integrate more of the Google ecosystem products. Using this along with Gemini Advanced...is nothing short of a game changer!

I’m still waiting for them to give us the ability to use other voices or our own voice. Otherwise, this podcast feature is not that useful

For sure! You can use it to promote any product on amazon. just put in the URL and it will generate the audio. No it's not my voice... just a coincidence that it sounds like mine? I actually don't think it does.

So the title says "Turn Any Article into a Podcast with ONE Click!" and then literally within the first minute, you say TWO clicks...why do that?? Feels like a clickbait title.

That's definitely impressive, Helena!
I think that this tool still needs to improve somewhat to eliminate the repetition that creeps in towards the end of the 'podcast'. And, as others have mentioned here already, it will be good when there is the option to use or upload different voice samples.
But is is amazing to see what these technologies are now achieving, and exciting to consider how much better they will become in the coming months!
Can the voices of the podcast be changed?
I think this sucks for actual content creators. Because once the average podcast listener learns that podcasts can be AI generated they will not trust the medium and the information any longer.

Since many or most of the articles in the media going forward will be AI generated, this sort of tool is so meta.
Pretty soon, all podcasts are only going to have 2 voices ..... I hope they add more voices soon

No not yet
Yes, but on a different platform. Requires training the AI on your voice. And that’s not dangerous at all…
