The modeling isn’t as bad, As long as they don’t force her to do something on a day she has to take pictures (Like if she wants to go play, they should let her). That way as she gets older she can easily say “I don’t want to be a model, I want to do [this] instead”, it’ll be an easy transition as modeling is mainly about styling, beauty, and health and body care.

SM Entertainment is for idols/music related stuff they have other branched companies for models, actors, etc. In term of modeling, ESteem is one of the best in Korea tbh, their management is pretty good.

There have been some idols talking about being parents while in work but chose to wait until they are truly ready. I understand what Natty says because the idol/music aspect of the industry is more ruthless than the acting side especially with obsessive fans that can be a dangerous threat to the idol if they had a family.

Kids who decide to be an idol liked the glamorous boyfriend/girlfriend image that garners boughs of blind affection enough to pursue it for years. They didn’t just like music, dancing or performing. If they simply did it for the music, there are a ton of musicians in Korea that gain fame simply for their artistry in music. Not appearance. Not acting like the fantasy boyfriend that pre teens dream about. And I’m not judging those who want to be an idol, just saying, everyone wants different things in life. And they come into it fully aware of what sort of circumstances it might bring, they just want the glory/fame/ riches enough to forgo all of it. So pushing back family life because they want to focus on their career and reach their individual goals of success? That’s not big news, there are a ton of people in regular life doing that in order to reach their goal in life.
