      You can! It is really worth it! Just plan everything out what you want and take your time and you will have a piece of art! My feelings on builds is if you are going to build one make it a piece of art as these cabs are like a piece of furniture in your home bringing years of playing and fun! Even if I do just a simple what I call a arcade machine I will use high end everything including glass. But when building a king cade I will go all out as its a step up and a machine that does everything. My next one I'm adding motion detection so when you walk up the song from Flynns arcade separate ways begins to play and I'm using the war games Shall we play a game? Voice when standing in front of the machine and when you push the one up button it says let's begin then you are ready to scroll. It can also be shut off as well and I want to add a auto safe shut off so when you walk away it will shut off on its own. I like bigbox and coin-ops for the front ends. I may do a video after I'm done and see how many people are interested. Some issues I run into is the time it takes to get the things you need. Even the wood. I only use MDO and it can be tough to get but 💯 water proof! I would definitely build the arcade of your dreams because you will use it for a lifetime and during the holidays everyone will love it and want one!

  • @quantumfx2677
    @quantumfx2677 3 месяца назад +1

    Absolutely use real glass always! A arcade is a piece of furniture and my opinion has always been such a great respect for the classic Arcades that I feel they deserve to be in a beautiful High end cabinet always! Now when you are adding in the best classic consoles from Xbox to PS3 you have gaming that is absolutely amazing and then all the great arcade classics that will get hours of enjoyment for everyone! I wouldn't have it any other way then a incredible high end build that you will have for years to come! Make it the best in every area from the best guns, racing wheels, sound and visuals and so on. Yes it cost and its a lot of tedious work when building but you end up having a piece of art like no other!

    • @quantumfx2677
      @quantumfx2677 3 месяца назад

      I would think about building one and take your time! Build a piece of art because it is like furniture in your home that will bring years of enjoyment! This way you can continue to complete a bit at a time and before you know it you will have your dream machine! You will find that sometimes you have to wait a while just to get parts for your build but its not a bad thing if you are taking your time to build it! You can do this and build a piece of art as you go because the enjoyment you will get will be years of fun and especially during holidays with friends and family and building it will save a ton of money as well! Arcades are simply awesome and worth doing in my opinion!

    Also, that little hidden slot for arcade books I love, just a thought, it could be a great spot for a trouble shooting guide, incase their is a problem. Your builds and quality are incredible but I have to assume there can be issues from time to time with such a complex machine. Or do you give your customers a trouble shooting guide in general?

    • @TheDanielSpies_Arcades
      @TheDanielSpies_Arcades  4 месяца назад +1

      Good question: Yes many things can go wrong with complex cabinets. Most of the time this is software related and I can login with Anydesk from remote. But it something breaks in hardware: my cabinets are always build with easy replacement in mind.

    One change I would suggest is to have the front-facing USB ports be mounted underneath so that if someone steps on a cable it disconnects with no damage to the port. Having a spring mount would be useful also to pre manage some slack so that pulling or stepping on the cable will be okay up to a specified length.

    Amazing. Always getting better and better. Yeah launchbox makes it so much easier to set up. I even subscribe to the community theme creator so I can create custom themes for it. Also how much does a cabinet like that cost? And for ultimarc aimtrack compared to gun4ir. I think gun4ir has way too many features than the aim track. I hope to save up for those one day. Again awesome job.

Overigens ook maar een Bigbox licentie genomen tijdens de kortingsdagen (blijf een Hollander 😆) voor mijn future build. Ben je ook van plan iets met VPX te gaan doen?
