I love everything cat! It's not a good idea to terrify people with isolated instances of bad housecat behavior. I've had a couple who were unpredictable and really loathed certain people, thus attacking them. However, for the most part, they're docile and very kind animals. You have to respect their boundaries.

They may go rigid and flick their tails, flicking their tails is a major sign that your cat is pissed at you, and is a warning to you to leave it alone . Wide eyed staring is another sign. But cats also do that when scared or alarmed. And obviously hissing and growling are big signs. People need to understand that sometimes cats can be feeling unwell and just want you to leave them be. Are we any different when we feel unwell. ? Most cats give warning signs, and most don't want to attack or hurt you, so they warn you instead.
