He obviously buys the car then breaks it up. Then he puts mud and crap all over it and then puts it in a odd location and then makes out that he just found it 🤠. Everyone is foooooooled!!!!
A guy who rebuilds 1/18 scale finds one in a drainage ditch while he has a camera. Now that amazingly good luck. Good job on the car. Keep them coming.
I remember having several of these Maisto models as a kid in the mid-90's! I had a red one, white one, possibly pink, and possibly blue. Even as a kid I loved the big old cars and this was about the biggest 1:18 scale model available at the time. Now I have the AutoArt version and it is very well done!
I purchase a five shelf stand up, lighted jewelry case, all glass and mirror. I have about 25, 1/18 cars, mostly Chevelle’s, 442’s GTO’s. They’re mostly high end cars and Beautiful in that lighted case. My wife let me put it in the Living Room 🤣. I Buy and Trade occasionally, if your interested. Really enjoy just looking at them sometimes.
Same here! I had the black 1:18 Maisto Eldo. Now, I own both color series 62 Autoart Cadillacs (light brown and the bright red one). Very expensive because they're both in mint shape, with the black boxes and paperwork.
Chris Corrado I lucked up on a 5 shelf lighted Glass Jewelry case about 6’ tall. I’ve got about 22 Cars, 1/18’s. My cars are mostly 60’s Muscle, Chevelles, GS Buick’s, GTO’s Etc. A lot of which are high end cars, but I do have some 50’s too. Not very active anymore with buying because I couldn’t afford to buy another case. Lol I do like to talk about them, maybe even do some trading. I got to stay around 22 cars. Anyway, thanks for the note!
Good job, I loved it from start to finish, although I would have liked it more if the Cadillac had less pink and the color was not so strong, and I would have liked a pastel pink or light pink
im sure theres modelar shops with some spare parts. Or u can do it like me, use similiar parts from another wrecked model (believe me, i got tons of model wrecks that really are wrecks from my and my brotherts childhood). and u can always use some old plastics or metal and do a custom. theres a lot of options, they just needs to be found. theres also some kind of "plastic in tube" that i see get used for custom body on hot wheels custom vid, u can also use it on bigger cars.
@@megs8654 you're right, but what I meant is that the didn't show HOW he rescued / rebuilt some missing parts that later appeared in the "restored" model.
As other people have commented, the missing wheels just turning up is very convenient. More impressive however is his finishing post spray work. If you look at the top left corner of the bonnet (hood in the US), there are still horrendous pocks and marks because it wasn't prepped right. Look at the same spot at the end of the video - spotless. It's a murcle.
Absolutely. I restore 1/64th stuff and that thing was in ROUGH shape when he painted it, I balked at it. Spray painting the chrome and not using a chrome pen is a major mistake as well. I think he halved the value of that one by "restoring" it
You are one of the best Diecast restoration channels on RUclips, Although I don't build 1/18 model cars I have actually learned many model building tricks from your restoration videos. Thank you for making and sharing them.
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost my account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me!
@Koda Lyle thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
This car was very expensive as a toy ... I think. Mmmm. Such things have a soul, so it is good deal to restore it. Bravo P.S.This pink color is insane !!!
That is strange how does he manage to have all those missing handy when he needs them sounds like a setup to me 😂 he does a beautiful job for real it's very hard to fix a broken model sometimes keep up the good work my friend
What do all of you care if it's fake? Just appreciate what he can do to repair it. This is about the artistry and the work. If it bothers you so much why are even bothering to comment?
Do you always video yourself pushing a stroller? And when you do, do you always find neglected collectible cars posed in a culvert? And when you do, do you always have the correct spare parts? Asking for a friend
At the beginning, I thought there's nothing left to restore, torch it and buy a new one. Other than the heinous Pepto Bismol color, very impressive job!
I restore cars and I would never whistle about so much dirt and much less, I would exhibit such a poorly finished work. If it's a hobby, you have to put a little more love. I recommend that you watch the videos from Rescue & Restore.
Im truly and profoundly fed up with the fake so called " restorations " like this. Destroying a Beautiful Cadillac model just to fake the restoration and waste our time!!! Shame on you
Nice job in aging a spotless model

The car is wrecked but the plastic chrome trim is fine. Nothing snapped or broken at all... Hmm...
I think it’s put there and made to look lost and found . Bit silly
LOST ME WHEN YOU PAINTED ALL THE CHROME SILVER.
model car is so good
Love the restoration work on the Cadillac El dorado, looking good to be seen on the road, great job with this project.
The looks of vintage cars are on the other level.😍😍
Good job, I loved it from start to finish, although I would have liked it more if the Cadillac had less pink and the color was not so strong, and I would have liked a pastel pink or light pink

Felicitaciones , muy bella restauración
This is sloppy. He does not even take time to really clean the parts.
The underside of the hood while painting........
LOVE CADILLACS OF ANY SIZE! Beautiful job! Wish I had one in my garage! Oops I don't have a garage!
Same here.wish I had a garage and a cadillac.
hi where did you find the plastic windshield
There's just sooo much wrong here..
You were faced with three options: Leave the finned Caddy alone, take a hammer to it, or rescue it. Fine choice!
Quem foi o maluco que jogou fora uma relíquia dessa?.Obrigado por resgatar esse cadilac.
It can't believe that you found in garbage that what you turn in beauty!
That's a car with some serious style. MUCH better looking than anything from the last 50 years.

Original de novo, maravilhoso!
Wuaooooo good job congrulations!!
The car is absolutely chaotic on the outside from the start, but under the hood looks nearly pristine? How it that possible?
Just a tip for when you fake wreck the cars, dirt and water would get inside them too, the insides should not be spotless.
