my fav b-side is lie again. the way it connects to don't wanna cry surprised me at first. the way it's a slower tempo-ed song with more healing than not lyrics makes it really unique. don't wanna cry is obviously one of their most popular releases, and it's about a significant other leaving out of nowhere and the first person pov not wanting to be upset about it, but they can't help it cause they love them so much. lie again is the "sequel" because the person singing is finally getting over the heartbreak when the person who left during dwc actually came back. the lyrics of lie again are pretty much saying that they don't want them back (as a love interest) even though the person who left during dwc did come back, because they've fallen out of love with them. after all the time of them being gone, the first person pov got over the heartbreak, and even though they still love the person who left them they know it's not a romantic love, more of a platonic kind of relationship, and they don't want to lie to them by telling them the words the want to hear. they know how bad the pain hurts of getting lied to (tb to dwc when the initial love interest left without a trace) and with knowing that pain, they don't want that person, who ran away, to feel it. because they do still love and care about them.
I remember seventeen performing Fronting in a concert last 2018. Can't believe that was my first and last time hearing it live. I miss them :< So many of my faves here! Especially Rocket and network love. Beautiful is such an underrated song. It's sweet and a. feels good song. Anyway, Seventeen's music will always be my source of happiness and I'm sure carats would agree to that, as well.

idk ig soft and comforting songs are my type but it's fun to imagine hanging out with your friends while staying overnight at a beach resort while roasting marshmallows and having these type of songs playing in the background 😌💞

my fav b-side is lie again. the way it connects to don't wanna cry surprised me at first. the way it's a slower tempo-ed song with more healing than not lyrics makes it really unique. don't wanna cry is obviously one of their most popular releases, and it's about a significant other leaving out of nowhere and the first person pov not wanting to be upset about it, but they can't help it cause they love them so much. lie again is the "sequel" because the person singing is finally getting over the heartbreak when the person who left during dwc actually came back. the lyrics of lie again are pretty much saying that they don't want them back (as a love interest) even though the person who left during dwc did come back, because they've fallen out of love with them. after all the time of them being gone, the first person pov got over the heartbreak, and even though they still love the person who left them they know it's not a romantic love, more of a platonic kind of relationship, and they don't want to lie to them by telling them the words the want to hear. they know how bad the pain hurts of getting lied to (tb to dwc when the initial love interest left without a trace) and with knowing that pain, they don't want that person, who ran away, to feel it. because they do still love and care about them.
I remember seventeen performing Fronting in a concert last 2018. Can't believe that was my first and last time hearing it live. I miss them :<
