But if you wanna real programmer then gor for assembly language and start it with 8051
Arduino is upgraded version of embedded system or you can say its a good development board
But arduino has some limitations so to overcome from this Raspberry pi is better than arduino
But if you are perfect i assembly then no need for arduino or raspberry pi , you can directly program the any microcontroller ( each mc series has its own specific way of codes )
If you really wanna be a programmer then arduino is a good and easy platfrom
Its that much easy if you cant understand arduino programming then you are not made for programming any Microcontrollers.

Coming to arduino its a great idea to get started and im using arduino since 2 years till now i made over 100 projects. arduino is quite easier than raspberrypi, jetson, dragonboard, begilbone etc. With this board i won many great awards in biggest science fairs. So many people may think that programming this board is bit hard dont think like that because im a 10th class student and can program this arduino board IT IS EASY TO HANDIL THIS !!!!!! and a main thing it is so cheap to buy.

I made an ultrasonic height and weight measuring device. I wrote the codes with Arduino and arduino UNO. Normally everything works fine. But sometimes after waiting for an hour or two, I take a measurement, the device is measuring, it shows the numbers on the screen, but it does not print the result to the thermal printer. The numbers stay on the screen, then the device is reset with whatchdog. This is starting to get annoying. can you help me with this
