Yeah, Rochester and Mel Blanc are my favorites. I just saw a funny tv episode where Rochester looked smashing sitting in his smoking jacket reading on his day off. Jack isn't home, and the phone keeps ringing. No movement from Rochester. Then, finally he swings his arm over to the desk with the ringing phone... and he picks up his drink ;)
Miss McDonald, Besides Jack Benny of course, my other favorite people on this radio show are Phil Harris, Eddie “Rochester” Anderson, Dennis Day and Mel Blanc. My only problem is trying to find a picture of the man who portrays the man who sometimes knocks on the door and “harasses” Jack😊.
Thanx. Rochester is my favourite of the crew

Was that Joe Besser as "Killer" Hogan? I definitely recognized the voice of Eddie Green of "Duffy's Tavern" as Radcliffe Spears, Jr.
Omg. Even the bit players on the phone are Fan-Tastic.....Bennys show just set the standard for radio, week in and week out....
Dennis Day sings 'There I Go'... so beautiful!!!
Thank you!
Jack benny is my favourite radio program next to burns and allen
Wish I could get ahold of that recipe book. 🍡
SUPER BAND NUMBER ON THIS SHOW!!!
Another triumph for radio humor
Was that man really the mayor of Jack’s hometown, or was he another radio actor who played the role in the few episodes?
Real mayor
They grew up together
Fred Allen was such a SNOTTY SNOB on the game show “What’s My Line”. That is where I first heard & saw of him.
J E L L O!
It was the real mayor. They grew up together
Is that Mary in that pic? Woof! She was a double bagger!
Yes, that is Mary.
She was "a real chiller-diller!"
