Thank you for your excellent and useful video. I have Dacia Logan and the fuel pump is the same. I have similar problem. The car sometimes stops suddenly on the way. Then I wait 15-20 minutes, then it works. I changed the fuel filter and checked the output of the fuel pump like your test. No fuel output when problem arise. Then I removed the pump and disassembled. Everything seems OK. But how to test the fuel pump before mount the car? Is there any way to check the pump on workshop? Thanks

Pump can be checked only on machine or you can check like I checked in the video, before the insatall of timing belt, rotating by hand.

Infact I have replaced IMV with a old one, it' s not shown in video but problem remained same then decided to clean HP pump and that solved the problem ... Thanks for your comment 👍🏻

@@thewhatnotguy6812 heater plug ka indicator jalega koi problem hai to, aur bhi koi problem ho sakta jaise, fuel pressure in morning, injector return back, fuel filter

If the main output line blocked or fails to give pressure, then the pressure release valve releases the pressure to return line.
@@devautoelectronics Then the common rail does not have pressure relieve valve on it, but it is in the pump?

my duster had starting problem, but service center says engine need to down they check, they say 40000 thousand for engine checking trouble shooting , then parts everything they says one lakh fifty thousand around. but repaired the same way locally around 5000 rupees.
Does your car has black or white smoke? does oil level goes down? Please confirm and tell me in comment ...
Why they want to engine down? for what reason?
my Renault Duster 110(2013 Model) has long cranking issue once in a day. difficult to start when left overnight. rest of the day. no issue. what could be the issue. no warning light in meter, no fault in scanner.
In the morning put scanner and check fuel pressure in live data, you will get idea .... Replace fuel filter if not changed more than 25k kilomter
@@devautoelectronics Ok, I changed Fuel Filter Yesterday, But issue is still there.
You may check your fuel sender in the tank sometimes its leaky or cracked and could drop pressure in the morning

Hand pump se pump Karo pahla, agar hand pump kayi bar dabane se tight hona chahiye, to HP pump faulty hai.....video mein dikhaya visa check karo

I have Problem to start the car after changing timing change
The car problem ( check high pressure pump )
If pump was wirking properly before timing. May be mistimed, check pump and cam markings properly there should be 18 teeth between cam and pump.

If we replace the fuel pomp with another one do we need to make changes in ECU on the car to recognize the new pump?
