This home has strong industrial design roots and I LOVE the exterior colour. Industrial design needs to be translated to the interior and i think a rethink on this property's decor is in order. I think theres a big market gor this kind of property as people need some bold choices. I think the USA homebuilders are light years ahead of the uk 🇬🇧 in terms of design and finish. They play it too safe and they trnd to look the same. Bravo Timothy for your channel. It never fails to inspire me.

First I appreciate the price of this house.
    Love the 4 car garage.
The master bath is extremely nice, the soaking tub and Huge shower OMG 🎉. The pass through from the closest to the laundry room is nice to have.
The finished basement with that great bar area is fantastic!
I would appreciate a larger pantry for accommodating a freezer.
A dog shower and drying counter for pet grooming would be a dream come true.
The front door seemed rather small for as nice as the house is, underwhelming entry.

    Hey Timothy & Jenn!
I don't mind a beautiful big home once in a while, but I want to visit Reality Land again! The Frontier, The Greystone/etc. I just want to go back to the simpler homes, in that, somewhat normal people could "possibly" afford! I say it that way because then the owners wouldn't have their heads so far up their watoozies and their noses pointed directly up to the sky! Some of these bigger homes, even GPS would get fricking lost in them! I'm sorry for ranting and raving, but it feels like you're trying to run a competition with other home tour channels! I humbly ask that you go back to the smaller and hopefully more affordable homes very soon! Don't worry, I'll remain a loyal subscriber and fan of your channel, but I pray that you take serious consideration of my request! Thank you for all of your hard work! Be safe and be blessed!

These homes are gorgeous but...I am more of a fan of the smaller modular/prefab homes. I'm doing research on the possibilities of affordable, energy-efficient, downsized homes for retirement. I was considering you as an advocate and information source for that purpose. Looks like you're starting to go in another direction.

Timothy remember that town home you toured few weeks ago.I was so impressed it was the four level 3700 feet. I wouldn’t have changed anything about that home except the blue walls downstairs but the overall design that kitchen and those beautiful cabinets cabinets never need the master design was the nicest I ever seen prettier than in homes. This home's a miss for me. I don't mind modern design; my cousin used to own an Eichler home in Palo Alto that was lovely. But this home is "pseudo-contemporary" as another commenter put it. The proportions and angles are bulky and clunky. The black and gray palette is depressing. My more pragmatic gripes are: no mudroom, no main floor dedicated office/computer space*, and no handheld shower wand in the master bath (should be standard at this price point). I do like the tandem garage. The tandem space gives you some flexibility -- you can use it for a car or golf cart, storage, or a workshop. *Yes, you can appropriate one of the BRs for an office, but with only 3BRs including the master on the main level, you have to either split your family between 2 floors or relegate yourself to the basement for work, which isn't always practical or convenient. Like the shower wand, a main floor workspace should be standard at this price. Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer -- as a friend of mine said, you win a few, you lose a few, but you dress up for them all. I'm sure I'll see plenty of stuff I like in future videos! 😊

Hey Timothy! Well I like some of this house, but mostly I didn't like it. Too modern looking for me. I did like the location of the microwave and oven and the fact that the cook stove is gas. I liked the sink under the window and the pantry. But the living room is kinda limited for space with that big staircase right in the middle of it! I did like the gas fireplace in the living room! The dining room isn't very impressive either. No wall for Grandma's China Cabinet! I don't like that open staircase either - no kids, but we do have pets running around playing as well as a blind cat that sometimes gets excited and runs into things. I can see her, and some if the other excited pets, falling down those stairs! I would think they would be even more of a nightmare for parents with young children! I hate Jack 'n'Jill bathroom's! And i hate having the utility room with a door going into the Master Bedroom! The dislikes, or hates, very much outweighs the likes on this one. So, although you did a good job on the video, and this place actually cost less than what I guessed it would, this one is Not for us!! God bless you and your family.

  • @thekirksiffs5285

overall it is a nice home, but some things just stuck out to me as big NOs. First, the dreaded barn door on the bathroom! Those things don't close tightly, and they are noisy when operating them. Also, I'd personally like shower doors. I don't like feeling a draft when I shower, but it is a gorgeous bathroom. And in the basement, why put carpet right up next to the slider door? You know it is going to get trashed with kids running in and out. I wonder why they didn't locate that breaker box in the utility room in the basement? In the kitchen, on the small counter where you said might be good for a coffee maker, was there an outlet available? I do LOVE the fact that the builder left the island uninterrupted. So refreshing to see the sink not cutting up that big, beautiful surface.
