I was going to make note of that campground as I live also about 100 miles from it but after your experience, I have only made enough note to never go to it. I agree that camping with an EV is quite possible and easy. We did a 3500 mile road-trip last year to New Mexico and Colorado and Utah. Camped 11 days in 3 night stretches at National Parks and hotels between campgrounds and Air BnB 6 nights at the end. Charging was also reasonably smooth. Hope you can find another campground that is enjoyable for the 3 of you.
