I don't think merging is optimal for this game, I do really like their ally system though so you don't get punished by being on a "dead/dying server". Since so much in this game is time gated I don't think they should ever merge servers to be honest. Some spenders have spent more and some might have spent less. The perception of their value of the spending they have done is based on how they perform/performed on their server. So having smaller servers merge together where there can be a lot of different tiers of spenders and some big whales fall behind cause they stopped spending might kill the servers or at least the player base even more.
You hit the nail on the head. I'm on one of the lower activity servers and the Allied server system makes the most sense to me. If they suddenly drop all of us into a big population server with some megawhales I could see a bunch of us quitting.

If a bunch of servers are merged and people go from first place to 50th place how do you think they’ll feel? Merging servers has never been a good idea. The same can be said with merging guilds in any game. After 40 years of playing games I’ve been through all of it and it’s just bad.

Honestly, I would hate if my server suddenly got flooded by players who are stronger than me. I spend a little bit on the game to stay in the top 10 in dream realm (generally 6th or 7th). I would likely quit the game if a heap of stronger players got merged onto my server. S367
S295 here, i am German and the Server is mostly too, there are a good number of active people and me, as a f2p who played since mid April, i have reached the higher ranks, because a good portion of players (mostly whales in the early stages of the game) left a few months after the global launch. I don't like the district in that we are in ( with 303 and 307), because there are active heavy spenders and it's difficult to maintain a spot in the Top 50/100 in Dr, Sup Arena or now, in the Ravaged Realm. In our server there are two to three main active guilds, but there is still a good difference between them, they're not on the same "level".
You should get your server allied. If active players drop too much, you won't be able to recruit new members to replenish old guild members that leave.
S507 here, we got less than 150 people in the server and more are dropping these days. Leader of the first and most active guild in the server with 27 fairly engaged people atm, it's getting impossible to recruit without totally killing the other few guilds left. Allied servers have to be a must with season 3 (but make it easier to recruit!), merging servers on the other hand can be tricky (if they do that they could double the rewards tiers so that players keep getting the same rewards as before).
If S444 is not 'allied' in 3 weeks then im not spending another cent on this game. I only play for the team events and this will become pointless once we run out of competitive/social (discord) players to recruit. which is imminent. And honestly, i dont think alliance to one equally weak server is going to help matters, it just kicks the can down the road for a month or so. There needs to be a fundamental restructuring. I really hope im wrong, but its starting to feels a little like a 'churn & burn'
how can we add our server to this list? or if you're adding more? how can you tell if server has more than 200 players? our 200 DR ranking is always full, but the server doesn't like using the chat function so I can't tell who else is active.
@@Veilamia I am not sure about your first question. However, I can answer your second question. Basically, we go to Guild Supremacy and collect information on all Guilds at difficulty 4 and above. We total up the number of each players in each Guilds and which server they are on. We remove those players that haven’t logged in for more than 7 days. With that, we can estimate total number of players in your server, even when it has >200 active players.
s267, 114 people attacking dream realm yesterday. I don't mind too much. I really don't enjoy the guild system or game modes in this game anyway, and I prefer being able to compete as a f2p on a smaller server. Getting top 50 consistently is nice. As f2p I'm never going to be invited to an actual competitive guild anyway, so allied servers really don't mean much to me.
You might be surprised. There are some competitive Guilds that do accept f2p, mine included. My guild Slay3rs in S337 are one the top 2 Guilds there and we have like three f2p. Wish you the best of luck in season 3.
@@--Dan- being in an active competitive guild does not mean you have to spend. You just have to use your ressources differently. And if you think Competitive is only Power... Big big no no. As Wraec's Guild "leader" I would take an active participating F2P over a Whale who is not listening to strategies for example.
I manage a high ranking BD guild & my recruitment priorities are activity & sociability, power and skill fall far, far behind. Its the friendly people who hang out on discord that help you win team events.
I guess my server isn't considered dying (S42), but I do know that I can't seem to find an English speaking guild on it that is accepting members. Most, if not all, of them are French. I'm not sure why I got dropped into a server with so many French players given I live in the USA, but it's a bit of a roadblock to having that community feel. The auto-translate is alright for small talk, but it's not really fun to interact when depending on it for important things and, obviously, it doesn't help me outside the game if the guild requires a Discord server or something.
The developers did some promotion at certain times to target certain countries. You probably joined S42 when there was a French promotion going on, so the vast majority of the players are French. Your only hope is a dying server with mostly English speakers is allied with S42 in season 3.
S309 here. Our guild has 17 of the top 20 players in arena and DR record has less than 70 people. Basically if you are not in our guild you cannot make much progress. Guess our server is almost dead. But we rank 2nd in guild supremacy so I guess it is also a district thing
My server 278 only has 80 players ranked for endless dr and 113 total players on the ranking, the situation might be worse than this chart shows because it has us listed as light yellow 150-200 players 💀
My server has a G in front of it so I have no idea how many servers are before it, there’s definitely at least 200 active players but only 199 in the season right now.
What is your G-server? You can find out. Click on your profile button on upper left. Your picture should show up. If you look at bottom right, it should say G???. That is your G-server number.
@@forbiddenaether1012 This server was created recently. If it has dropped to less than 200 players attacking Dream Realm Boss daily, it isn’t looking good. At least you are guaranteed of getting top 200 player rewards in DR though. 😊
@@agewisdom3442 I just checked again today, there's definitely more than 200 people per day. at least 250, so I think its actually doing fine, just not everyone hops on when the server resets the day at 6 pm, some wait till the next day to do their stuff

336 here, can't recrute any decent player since 3 months... since we have 3 establish guilds and since they dont tighten the highest rewards to only top 5 or so there is no need to swap guilds for anyone
S459 here, we only have 4 competitive guilds, that only have 20+ active members. Pretty sad. Im on the top one guild, we pretty much took all the spots in DR, SA, Regular arena.
Wraec will be using the comments here to raise this issue with the Community Manager. Hopefully devs listen and ally your server with another server at start of season 3.
Global started 4.5 months later than S-server as they launched on 8 August 2024. There was also better content cadence in season 2 onwards. So G-servers are generally more healthy than S-severs.
G-servers started on or after 8.8.2024. They started 4.5 months later and the content cadence is much better. So, they have more active players, for sure.
True, until your server drops to below 50 active players and only ONE guild is at full 30 players. If you are not in the no. 1 Guild, good luck in competing in district events with guilds.

Actually a huge topic and as Omegas Main Recuiter i would even love to have Allied Servers for s33... but since we are quite alive we wont see many new faces. Anyway, good to have this topic coverd how it was needed to be coverd
I think it really depends on how you approach the game. From a competitive pov it's rather boring. Our guild basically dominates pvp/DR rankings. On the other hand, easy free rewards, so players enjoy this aspect. Allied servers did close to nothing though, as we got paired with another dead server(S318). Districts make things quite fun, luckily, as there are still plenty of active players there to challenge. BTW less than 50 players are doing DR daily now 😂.

Rewards for Arena and Dream Realm (server) are NOT changed even when Allied. But Guilds from one server can recruit from their Allied Server.

Yes, that was as at mid November 2024. Things probably have gotten worst over time.
Where can you see if your server is allied of merged already? I’m in s177 kinda dead
Go to your Guild hall and click on that upper right trophy button. You should see your district. Click on it and it will tell you if you are allied.
