J-Rod here. Great video. Moving the brake arm up a spline or three is perfectly fine. As for the bend in the arm, some have them, and some do not. I originally thought one series of bike did, and one did not, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I now assume, it was likely a year of bike thing. As always, I appreciate your business!
Thanks Jarred. CXforum members have told me the Custom has a bent arm. Never seen one so don't know. Bending it not a big problem. Sending back to you from Australia for retro-fit brake light switch not an option so I'll have to figure one out my end.
