Exactly.........this is the actual scene in the movie but with repetitive shots of Burton drinking added. Video is really just click bait........shame on the person who posted this.
I have got this movie DVD of Richard Burton Clint Eastwood Michael Hornden Mary Ure Ingrid Pitt Derrin Nesbitt and Anton Differing in Where Eagles Dare I am dedicating this movie DVD to my old school friends who are both sisters as I hope to see them both again very soon to Chris and Hester from Billyxxx
Richard Burton had it in his contract that he would be able to drink on the job even while shooting and the brandy or scotch had to be the best label. Like many old English actors, he worked much better while inebriated. I mean just look at the work of Richard Harris and Peter O'Toole. Drunk'n stumble-bums............all of them. But, boy could they ACT!!!!!
@@robertpage2023It does really. Richard Burton was born and raised in a small village near to Port Talbot in South Wales. His father was a coal miner and he was brought up in very humble circumstances. Also born and raised close by was Sir Anthony Hopkins. Both Welshmen able to speak Welsh and very proud of their Welsh ancestry.
IF I call someone from the British Isles differently from their origin lands, it is not out of disrespect but from my own ignorance of their beginnings. You know and I know and the world knows that these great actors from there have had their bad boy fun over the years but still they perform with incredible talent and THAT is what I respect. It's just too bad that they didn't take better care of themselves so that they could live longer although O'Tool seems to have beaten those odds.
Ah, this is not a deleted scene. This is a scene in the movie all cut up by an amateur.

Mk
@@scrmepalOh, enjoy the humor and stop walking around with a stick up your ass.
I like how annoyed Eastwood looks throughout this scene...
He was called a punk, 3 years later he'd use the term in Dirty Harry to refer to people he was arresting.
One of my favourite WW2 films. Still love it to this day.
The music. The voice. Have loved this scene since I first saw it around forty five years ago. Still can’t unravel the plot.
+AllanGildea. That makes two of us. 😊
I clearly recall this scene.
hilarious video once i realized it wasn't an actual alternate ending. Punk!! hahaha Burtons getting hammered!

Richard Burton sure does drink a lot in this "outtake ". It didn't take much acting....
It is a very risky but well planned operation. Doubtful it happens in real life though - too many things can go wrong.
Iced Tea, that's why he doesn't knock the rest of it back.
HA !!!
There's not enough booze on that set . To get Dick Burton drunk even if it Were real cognac .
This could be said to be psychologically real, though the original film was not quite like that, as I recall :)
Utter morons. Those that mock will be mocked. Complete utter idiots. Small things amuse small minds. Good luck and grow up.
Bye.
Did you need to do that we all know that rich Burton drunk
Yes, he did in the book…….
Does anyone reckon he might have had a drink before this scene ???? (didn't matter he still owned it ) ....
The only scene that is not in the film is where Richard Burton drinks before starting to speak !
Clickbait…
Drinking a lot in this scene...
