The funniest thing about the "original routine" is that that SpiderHorse track had been played about 30x times during down time at the event. I had a feeling they were going there just from the intro melody.
8:05 the crews they were referring to were Squid ‘’skip’’, Sarukani ‘’Kawasaki’’ and the Razzones ‘’ the ramones’’. Squid and the Ramones decided not to upload their performances. Squid because they weren’t happy with their performances because they were often off pitch and not sure why the Razzones didn’t upload theirs
There were 2 other crews that performed at GBB, but since the championship ceremony was shown, I guess there not getting shown. Also, M.O.M stands for: Mouth-O-Matic
8:38 They cover a Spiderhorse(a tag team) song, 8:43 the judge right most with white T-shirt(Chris Celiz) is a member of Spiderhorse, his partner is Gene Shinozaki. 8:47 They cover Mad-Twinz(a Tag Team), they weren't in the judging pannel.. 8:52 They cover a Berywam(you probably know them) song, 8:55 the judge second from right with blue and black jacket(Beasty) is a member of Berywam.
It's expected as a casual beatbox fan that you wouldn't get those jokes/ jabs at other tag teams because it would've made the performance 100% better for you but let me explain them for you here :D. So here's what i got: 4:56 "1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8" jab to sarukani doing the numbers 1-2-3-4 combo in their wildcard and showcase. 8:51 "We are M.O.M we are original, do you want something truly original ??" proceeds not be original for the joke xDD. 9:06 this is a Spider Horse cover hence Chris reacting that way with Beasty. 9:16 Mad Twinz cover 9:20 Berywam cover both the judges stand up. It also is insane how they transitioned to one cover to another it's almost seemless really. I think they are the most complementary crew i've ever seen. 10:06 reference to End of the Game crew (Colaps's crew). Geo Popoff (long haired guy) then does insane scratching technique. those timestamps are from the original videos. I love this showcase, it is really interesting cus it wasn't my favorite to win the event in the livestream, i got them 3rd when i was watching it live with livestream audio quality. Now with the video i completely agree with the judges decision, i already watched it like 5 or 6 times already ahah.
Scott still beatboxes, but isn't active in battling, he just hosts and hypes bbx events He also did a short showcase in gbb 21, which im impatient for sbx to upload the hq version haha
You should react to some BBU22 wildcards. Its a competition chezame and sxin made with a €23100 prize pool. Inertia, Wing, Den and Vino are my favourite wildcards
Most people who watched this live wanted M.O.M to win for the energy. Sarukani was great and did some nice ideas with a nice concept in there but maybe there wasn't something too novel when it came to their performance. It was still original and entertaining which is why they got second anyway. MOM's performance on the other hand was actually very creative and it showed what you can do with 3 people when you decide to think outside the box

They made sense when they said "we couldn't cover our travel costs"- they drove all the way from Austria to Poland to attend GBB 2021
