Twilight of The Apprentice and Twin Suns for example were both written by him and those episodes dealt with Vader and Ahsoka and Obi Wan and Maul respectively.
Filoni is a total yes-man. Under a competent leader, he can do great work. Under someone like Darth Menopause, he's just another instrument in Star Wars's destruction.

CGI for Han, Luke, Leia is a really bad idea. I submit that simply utilizing new actors (NO CGI) is the way to go. We don’t need them to look exactly like the original actors, -this isn’t sustainable and it’s just F***ing WEIRD! Lucas Film would be better served and so would us, the fans if they followed the JJ model with Star Trek. The actors hired to fulfill the classic roles looked sort of like the original actors, but more importantly they captured the essence of the characters. Karl Urban (Dr. McCoy) Chris Pine (Capt. Kirk), Zachary Quinto (Mr. Spock) and on and on. Every actor that filled a legacy role, absolutely knocked it out of the park! Speaking of Karl Urban, there’s your new Han Solo. Yeah, but there is a big difference between getting the gang back together in Picard and getting the gang back together in Star Wars is that in Picard, all the actors/actresses were still alive and playing older versions of their characters. For Star Wars, one of them has died and the others are older but have to play younger versions of themselves. De-age technology has gotten better from Rogue One's Tarkin/Leia cameos but it's still not that great and very expansive. So, they'll be regulated to a mere few scenes in the background instead of in Picard when the gang was up front and center kicking Borg ass again.

I hate to say this, but this is probably legit. Kristian Harloff is an access media guy, who got his start under John Campea, and has gotten interviews with Katee Sackhoff to talk about Mando Season 3 and other Disney Star Wars actors. All those point to me as, yep, this is what they’re going with. The harsh reality is, Disney and Hollywood in general are shells of its former selves, and are probably in the very early stages of “course correcting”/condensing/reorganizing phase right now and I’d hope to see a better Hollywood by 2030.

Yeah, but there is a big difference between getting the gang back together in Picard and getting the gang back together in Star Wars is that in Picard, all the actors/actresses were still alive and playing older versions of their characters. For Star Wars, one of them has died and the others are older but have to play younger versions of themselves. De-age technology has gotten better from Rogue One's Tarkin/Leia cameos but it's still not that great and very expansive. So, they'll be regulated to a mere few scenes in the background instead of in Picard when the gang was up front and center kicking Borg ass again.

Sebastian Stan is 42. Luke was what… 22 in Jedi? They gotta recast but gotta find someone who embodies him and resembles him at least a bit . Same with Han .
Maybe I'm wrong but Empire is 5 years after ANH and Jedi is 3 years after Empire. So if that's the case, he's more likely 27 in it, still Sebastian Stan is older but they could make a movie set around a time in which he could play Luke

I hate to say this, but this is probably legit. Kristian Harloff is an access media guy, who got his start under John Campea, and has gotten interviews with Katee Sackhoff to talk about Mando Season 3 and other Disney Star Wars actors. All those point to me as, yep, this is what they’re going with.
The harsh reality is, Disney and Hollywood in general are shells of its former selves, and are probably in the very early stages of “course correcting”/condensing/reorganizing phase right now and I’d hope to see a better Hollywood by 2030.
But KK has already 'created' a self insert named Crystal the Kyber hunter, presumably her own force empowered character!
