Is it me or is Kumar quite a good looking chap. I only started watching him recently. Got hooked when I watched the 'ah neh with bells' joke. I like how he 'transcends' all ethnicities. This interview is another side of him and I guess many will agree when I say we need more humans like him. Thanks to OKLETSGO for showing this. Sensitive, aware, diplomatic and intelligent while at the same time pushing the envelope and standing up for what he thinks is right - within reason, Kumar is really a humankind treasure. Oh, and how many times did I say he's bloody funny? Yes he is. You go, Kumar.
Agree. Must admit he did change my initial perception of him after watching this interview; struck me as a down-to-earth guy with a sharp awareness of everyday life and of course, an excellent sense of humour

I knew of his existence for a week only. Yet I love this guy. He's a true comic. The timing, improv mastery, wisdom. He's got it all. Kumar is the first and only reason I feel envy towards Singaporean (yes I'm a Malaysian la, what else). What a legend, a pioneer of stand up for this region. Part 1,2 and 3. Just brilliant. Have him back as much as possible tbh.

Kumar is like my happy pill, helping me maintain my milk supply while breastfeeding. People often suggest taking various supplements or boosters, but it's hard to know their effects. Watching Kumar while pumping, I'd get so caught up in laughter that I wouldn't notice the bottle filling up. I guess my milk molecules became happy molecules. What we need is a moment to simply enjoy and unwind. And we need individuals like him.
So much respect for Kumar after learning about his life. I remember back then he said or pretended to not be gay while he was on rising to fame on TV doing TV shows. People keep asking about his sexual orientation and either he said or the magazine or newspaper I read the info from lied that he was straight and that he can't get a girlfriend cause of the stereotype they labeled him.

Tapi, satu2nya so called "pondan" yg ada show on stage yg aku respect sejak dulu adalah Kumar sebab dia jujur, tak suka cari publisiti macam orang2 seperti dia yg lain. Aku anti betul dgn manusia yg suka buat controversi tak kiralaaa siapa pun dia. Sebab ada manusia macam Kumar, aku boleh respek pondan2 di luar sana yg bergelut setiap saat dgn masalah dalaman sendiri. Menjalani hidup yg sentiasa di diskriminasi hanya kerana mereka dilihat gagal melawan ujian mereka iaitu kekeliruan gender. Macamlah orang traight ni semua berjaya tempuhi ujian masing2 kan?? Tapi aku tak respek so called pondan yg suka buat kontroversi malah, kalau dia straight pun aku lebih2 lagi meluat.

Kumar is on the same level as Dave Chappelle as an artist and a person imo.. Only both of them can make listeners lol to people's hilarious predicament, but at the same time think back at the content which reflects on things most people went thru in their lives.. and most importantly change the people's mindset and life for the better..
to the person who did camera choreography in a studio : When you shoot a talkshow in a cramped space, ALWAYS use fullview of the focus subjects - in this case - everyone talking there. Shifting from one another and close up is too much mess and killing the continuity factor of the dialogue from each person. I only bear through the clip to the end because of Kumar. If it was someone less interesting... I'd already skip this video.
Was the boy seven or twenty? Is he a tattoo artist? 🤔 Comic relief is relevant, more so in harrowing times we are now living in. Hope there are more such platforms made available for entertainers to generate their incomes via viewer likes and subscriptions to replace “live non virtual” shows. It will become a new form of entertainment post C19
