Just for the information. The section in this video about "blend tool" is not correct. The small screw IS NOT for adjusting the blend between microphone and piezo! It is a MIC LEVEL CONTROL ! The blend between piezo and mic is firmly set by LR Baggs and not possible to adjust. This option is avaliable in standard Anthem. The SL has not the blend possibility.
Helps to start with a good sounding (acoustically) guitar to begin with. Better off sticking to piezo if you’re using that “concert body”, thinner bodied, cutaway, etc style. My 2 cents
@@LaMarBoschman - Thanks. : ) They cost about $230, plus $200 for installation, and set up. I am not sure that I am worth it. Thanks, again, for your nice video!
Can you turn this pickup on and off so it doesn't drain in the battery all the time. If it is suppose to be turned off does it turn off automatically to save the battery or do you have to always remember to turn it off?
Andrew says, "I have 2 Taylor’s- one with the Anthem and the other with the SL. I feel like the output gain is the same. I’ve never noticed a difference."

Thanks Andrew, helpful video I hope to put a anthem sl in my Taylor 517 v-class.
Thanks for posting. No sound demo? Ouch. I reviewed the program twice thinking I might have missed it. Ouch. Peace. 😲
sorry about that we didn't have the equipment to demo the sound accurately
Andrew’s guitar is a Taylor 714 CE V Series
Shure would be nice to actually HEAR IT!!!!

Do you use effects pedal like reverb and delay with Anthem SL?
Yes, between your guitar and amplification
Maton Australia still has best pickup 💯
I actually hate it on my tail. Guitar doesn’t sound good at all.
